Smoking pot where you shouldnt be...

So the basic reason for me posting this thread is so i can learn if it is safe to smoke weed at my house where i shouldnt be, and the best way to do it. I am 18 years old and still live at my parents house till i go to college next fall. I want to know the best way I can smoke weed in my house without getting caught basically.
I live on the second story of a 2 story building. My parents live below and are on the opposite side of the house below my room. I've been smoking pot up here for a couple of weeks now and it really sketches me out cuz i dont want to get caught, im sure a lot of u know what thats like lol! well im trying to avoid it. I sometimes here footsteps coming up the stairs, or knocking, or voices outside my door, and that trips the fuck out of me. So far its just been my brain playing tricks on me, but what if im doing is actually going to get me caught one day? u know?
I have an anne franke type room on the side of my room filled with insulation and shit that i smoke pot in. What id like to know is your guys's stories about this kind of situation. I just want to know if what im doing is safe.
My parents know i smoke pot, but they hate it terribly. If they caught me smokin in the house it would be, well, a bad situation!
Any advice would help me greatly! It trips me out every time i smoke weed up here and id like that to stop, by knowing it is safe, or knowing i should try something else.

Get a lot of dryer sheets, then have some type of pipe/water pipe, putting it out after every hit and blowing smoke through the dryer sheets out of the window. Sorry if you can't understand i'm pretty blazed lol
 
Can you get on the roof?

Can you smoke outside?

If you smoke out of paper, you can just hold it out the window, take hits sticking just your head and hand out the window, blow the smoke out the window....

Get a fan, blow it out the window....

Sometimes I'll smoke indoors and if I don't want it to smell because my parents are in the next room, then I'll turn on the water faucet in my bathroom, smoke, and exhale holding my mouth over a doubled over towel; warning - this will leave a brown stain on it from what you are exhaling, if you keep doing it on 1 towel it'll be very noticeable.

I really think you have to do it outside to not get caught.
 
respect your parents wishes until you've got your own place. you can't get caught if you don't do it.
 
If you have a window facing outside open it, turn a fan on, cover the bowl after each hit to put out the cherry, exhale towards the window and burn some incense. Other options include doing it outside, not doing it (but how realistic is that, really) or just saying fuck it and doing it inside.

If you smoke a lot, you'll probably get caught at some point for doing it inside.

Yeah man, I've had to move back in with my parents for the time being, with the shite economy and all, and I've had my own places for like 6 or 7 years now, and I'm back living in my parents house and I just GO OUTSIDE when I want to smoke weed, no reason to totally disrespect them by smoking in the house.
 
My dad was pretty strict about me not smoking in the house when i still lived there, but i smoked pot in my room every day for a few years and he only ever caught me if i had smoked a cigarette in my room recently and he randomly knocked, and . With a window open, the smell of weed goes away within an hour, cigarettes linger a lot longer imo. but yeah, basically unless you have annoying parents that treat you like your five then just keep your door closed and window open. blow the smoke out the window for good measure, and put out cherries if your using a pipe, The smoke coming off of that is like incense.

If your room is carpeted then disregard, i forgot that it's not as easy to get away with if you don't have hard wood floors, odors linger in fabrics a lot longer.

Problem solved. Oh yeah, turn the fan around so that it sucks the smoke out the window.
 
Get a cheap vaporizer like the vaporgenie NO PRICES and you can get high all you want with like no smell.

yea vaporizers are great for low to no smell.... But when I smoke indoors I usually smoke in the bathroom with the fan on and same with the shower. Turn the shower to really hot so that it will get steamy in the room I think that helps with getting rid of the smell IMHO. Also like someone else said get dryer sheets, tape it around a toilet paper cardboard roll thing. Works like a charm yo
 
I hate these threads. You shouldn't be smoking in places owned by people who don't want you too, and if you are, then open a window and buy some air freshener. Closed.
