smoking oxycodone?

I had 2, 5mg pills of oxycodone. Not much mgs at all! I'm used to 10-12
5mg pills at once. anyway. I had no tolerance and just got out of surgery.
I snorted 1 pill and then in a tobacco
Pipe. I crushed it and mixed it with the tobacco and smoked it. Tasted not to bad. And I got a good buzz from it.
Is smoking it wasting it? I know its not to healthy but on The occasion oh well

You would know if smoking it is wasting it better then me since you've done it but from everything I've read you get the most out of the IR oxys(unless you want IV rush) by eating them.

The melting point of Oxycodone is 218-220°C so any effect you're getting is probably from the drug being absorbed in/on the way to your lungs. Snorting is similarly a waste because of low bioavailability and the fact that the pill is mostly Acetaminophen (Tylenol). You can potentially vaporize/freebase Oxycodone (i.e., on foil) but it's inefficient, unsafe and unhealthy. I'd recommend sticking to taking them orally.

I assumed it was Percocet since I didn't think Roxicodone 5mg were made anymore.

I've seen someone smoke OC 30's before, by crushing them down to powder and smoking the powder off aluminum foil.

I've never personally done it because there's just something about smoking pills that bothers me, but supposedly it works well...

Oxycodone pills don't have Acetaminophen(Tylenol). Your thinking Percocet.
