Smoking H on tin Foil

Is this just a european thing ? I get the impression that in the states you only snort or pin up. I have I'v ed 4 15 years on and off but know i just smoke my gear using a tin foil tube and a sheet of foil does this happen in the staes ?

The heroin we get in the UK is made to be smoked - unlike in the US where it isn't so you won't see as many people chasing on foil as is common in the UK, they don't need to add citric acid to IV it either and snorting is a lot more common over there.
