smoking DMT while already tripping

If one smoked DMT while tripping, would the cross tolerance prevent the DMT from working? If it does work, would it require a higher dose?

If this does work, does anyone have knowledge about its effects while in a difficult trip? My friends were considering having another friend smoke DMT while in a difficult AMT trip. I have only successfully smoked DMT once, and I cannot imagine it going bad unless in a horrible setting. Could it help someone through a difficult trip?
 
No, there is definitely no cross tolerance. If anything, you'll need a smaller dose because there is a synergy between DMT and other psychedelics. I've personally smoked DMT at the end of a rough acid trip (one in our group had a really bad trip, we spent 6 hours locked in a room with him trying to talk him down). The combination is incredible. I had my first entity contact during that DMT trip, and it lasted for much longer than on it's own. Definitely added a nice color to the rest of my acid trip, too.

Another excellent combination is MDMA and DMT. While rolling, it is FAR easier to get a breakthrough experience. Truly an amazing experience =D

I also was with a friend who smoked just a resin hit of DMT while on 2c-I and had a full blown, amazing trip with it.

I guess it would depend how on the circumstances, but I bet a small amount of DMT, assuming the person was familiar with it, might help steer the trip in a more positive direction. However, it also might be too much and push the person too far, it's hard to say. If they had a really bad mindset, it could make for a very powerful and strong bad trip.

It definitely helped me, though I wasn't the one experiencing the bad trip, though mine wasn't really "good" either. However, I would definitely not have given any to my friend who was having the bad trip, for fear of making it even worse.
 
It depends on the drug. I find that smoking DMT while on mescaline and acid (each of them individually as well as both of them combined) is great, they have a great synergy. I find smoking DMT on mushrooms and ayahuasca (on mushrooms on their own and on pharmahuasca mixed with acid and mushrooms) is great but the trip is notably reduced once the DMT wears off, I believe due to tolerance. I think it depends on the drug, but in my experience smoking DMT while on mushrooms or ayahuasca definitly weakens the trip, but not really till the DMT wears off.
 
In my experience there hasn't been a cross tolerance. DMT feels so natural that it really doesn't clash with the LSD

i haven't had breakthrough DMT experiences, but when I smoked it on LSD I had intense visuals and intense euphoria. Definitely recommended in a comfortable setting.
 
tripping on mushrooms and smoking dmt at the same time gave me very intense visuals after
and one hell of a dmt trip

Dmt on shrooms = brain meltdown

dmt on LSD = perfect clarity, helps you download all the info from your LSD trip if that makes sense
 
Yeah the combination of Mushrooms and DMT would be interesting since Mushroom's have a similar chemical structure (4-OH-DMT). I've never combined anything with DMT, but i have found on high dose's of Mushrooms that i could feel myself slipping into that state of awareness near the peak that i've experience on DMT in the past.
 
I often like to combine DMT with different materials. The ones I have had most success with are 4AcO/4HO-DMT and psilocybin mushrooms, 2CB/2CE/2CT7 and DOM. There is perhaps some synergy, but the DMT dominates almost completely for a while, and when used with other tryptamines, lasts a bit longer. I reckon 4AcO/4HO-DMT allow you to breakthrough with a lower DMT dose.

I do like to combine it with MDMA or Methylone because the euphoric qualities of these substances counteract the butterflies I usually have in my tummy when I am about to vape my spice.

I don't particularly enjoy stimulants (besides the empathogens I mentioned) and have not combined them with DMT. Something about the different mental ethos instilled by stimulants compared to psychedelics makes me feel that the combination is not appealing, but that is just my viewpoint, and I am sure there will be others who disagree.

I have had some good mileage using Moclobemide to potentiate vapourised DMT. Oral DMT combined with Moclobemide has been a little underwhelming to me. I reckon that the orally ingested DMT does not give such a rapid rise in DMT at my synapses as vaping does, and the profile of this combination is more akin to a 4sub-DMT in onset and experience.

I feel very safe with DMT and provided I am comfortable with the other material in the combination, adding DMT is usually worthwhile.
However, it is always wise to keep some caution in mind. I can't exclude the possibility of coming unstuck one of these days. So far so good.

I second that, although i've never mixed stimulants with psychedelics.. and don't ever plan to for obvious reasons, i did once watch a friend of mine smoke an average dose of DMT 10mins after inhaling some Methamphetamine.

Suffice to say, the guy completley lost himself in a spiraling panic attack, and he began to shake pretty violently, i can only imagine the experience /shudder.
 
I smoked 20mg of DMT base while just after the peak of 50mg 2C-T-7. At that dosage, you are still TRIPPING BALLS even at 7hr in and I was. My friend went first and was very quiet about his experience other than to say it was incredible. I went next and found it utterly terrifying. It felt like the DMT entities did not appreciate 2C-T-7 and everything was running a mock, like spraying pyrethium on ants. I could not let go or flow, and counted the minutes until I felt just the T7.

I have also had a bad experience mixing smoked S. Divinorum extract with a heavy dosage of 2C-T-7. I don't think the entity-infected psychedelics like 2C-T-7.

i found the combination of dmt and speed to produce some anxiety and restlessness which is the exact opposite of dmt alone for me. wouldn't recommend.

the combination with mdma on the other hand was quite nice. vaping the dmt and putting an appropriate dose into the pipe proved to be difficult (;)), but the results were even more colourful and more hedonistic altough less mystical than dmt alone.
 
I've combined it with a lot of different things that I've come across. MDMA is one of my favorites by far, I've had the most amazing experiences while feeling like I was being touched by god. I went on the most amazing trip once, and saw my girlfriend standing at an altar behind huge red glass. I flew up to her and she was in the most amazing wedding dress, too bad we broke up haha.

Acid is also pretty good, as long as it is clean acid. Dirty shit sucks and resulted in me losing the ability to talk for 30 actual minutes. I just sat by the clock sorta freaked out, but the trip before sucked, just mentally felt almost like toxic, made me feel stupid literally. Also on other acid/dmt trips time seemed to stand still, i felt like I was tripping for a lonnnng time.

2c-b wasn't too good for me, 2c-i I just did last night which was awe inspiring, 2c-e is really gnarly, amt seemed alright, mushies are really good. I didn't notice a decrease in the trip afterward.

Acid/E was awesome, Mush/E was breathtaking, plus both of those felt really good. The hippieflip was for my birthday, so I was in the best state possible. I just remember flying through huge blocks and a computerish type world. It was great <3
