Smoking Bud - Day/Night?

yeah i felt higher those first 6 months where i smoked 3 times a week...i was far above the clouds.
now i smoke it in place of an AD and stimulant...since i had to pay the doctors and pharmacy anyway i figured i should pay for what i want.

dont get me wrong, ive a veteran when it comes to smoking..i went for a 4 year run when i smoked every day...but now, im older im finishing up college, i dont find smoking pot to be all that fun...no offense to anyone but id rather do some other drug that didnt make me tired, hungry, antisocial, makes me smell, gives me paranoia and sometimes makes me not want to do anything at all

i have to imagine that this is what's going on with a huge amount of daily smokers.

i have issues w/ add, depression and anxiety too, and marijuana was always my self-medication of choice. i tried zoloft, ritalin, strattera, etc. and when you account for side effects, i'll take pot any day.

these days, i've thrown coffee, 5-htp and exercise in to the mix too, as i really don't like being stoned all day. but man your comment really struck a chord w/ me . . .

When I smoked daily I would smoke Sativas/Sativa dominant strains during the day, if I smoked them at all, and I'd smoke Indicas in the late afternoon/evening.

The high quality stuff would be saved for night when I was relaxing during the evening and listening to music, reading, or watching a movie/TV.

Does anyone else crash harder from sativas than indicas? Everyone is saying they like indicas in the evening, and I understand that because they calm you down. For me, indicas calm me down immediately, but don't make me crash. The initial effects from sativas are a bit more up and social, but a few hours later I'm falling asleep.

Oddly enough, I also often find indicas to be more visual than sativas.

Just smoke it at night, it won't take that long to get used to. I always enjoy it better that way. After that you can maybe smoke during the day on an off day with you want and see it as a "treat".

I agree only in the evening and as a treat on a day off

The crash hits me pretty hard and I don't like the feeling of being really tired in the middle of the day.
I only smoke at night, and the odd day when I have no responsibilities.

i've never had a crash from pot...just burnt/exhausted on occasion after a long day of smoking.
