Smoking benzos

A random one here. As we all know the standard of heroin in the UK has been terrible lately and a lot of it cut with benzos.

I want to know if I smoke heroin off a foil and it had some kind of benzo in it would it a, make me feel the benzo high and b, if I smoke the stuff off foil and there's benzos in it would it get into my system in a way that would show up on a urine test?

I do also snort my heroin from time to time but know that doing that some of the stuff will end up in my stomach and affect me that way but I thought smoking it could be a good way of judging how good the gear is.

If anyone knows that would be great.

Seeing the title of your thread I was going to say, don't waste benzos by smoking them. It will be pointless with many benzos.

I don't know enough about the pharmacology of the different benzos but I'm sure someone will pop up soon and be able to answer you question well.

I would hazard a guess and say that because smoking anything generally leads to a shorter duration, that smoking a benzo would do the same, as welll as not reallly getting much of it inside you.

Yeh, I'm just wondering about it really, I mean obviously if I was injecting or snorting it all goes in and ends up in my system, but I just wonder about the effects of taking it in this way, all be it accidently.

When I was going for urine tests when I tried to get off gear and onto Subutex, I'd had my last smoke to actually prove that I was on gear.
I'd taken some Diazepam a couple of weeks before, and it would have been well out of my system by that time, but Benzodiazepines still showed up on the test.
It was speculated by me and my addiction specialist that there could possibly be some form of Benzo in the gear, so it may be possible yes.

I know this is a bit of a grey area, but since we are basically talking about drug tests and what will get past them and what wont. The OP has informed me that this wasn't a drug test thread so I am reoopening it and will see what further has to come from it, before making a decision down the line as to whether or not it should stay open.

Yeh is wasn't specifically about drug testing as such but I can see how it lead that way.
