I’ve used smokeless pipes for over 10 years now but only in past few months I’ve changed the way I smoke it and I find it does wonders. I use to just inhale it then exhale and the smoke came out like smoking it any other way. About 4 months ago I started inhaling in smaller puff and keep it in for long time and no smoke come out. I get the best gear (really potent) bare in mind I can smoke it in any pubic toilet and no smell come out, nobody knows, I just did search on the net and there was info on smoking it like that so no smell comes out. I was wondering if allot of people out there do this cause nobody every told me about it I just tried it and search on the net after I’ve been smoking it like that for a good few months and there is a little info on it.

oh... and uh.... if you're telling me you've got such good bud people can't smell it on you...?

Well the bud I call good would over power most things in a bathroom, at least.

Of course its gonna reek less, you're putting less smoke into the air...

For me though, the point of ghosting is that it gets you super baked, but i guess its also useful for minimizing smell if you're a sketchy weed junkie that likes to smoke in public bathrooms...
 
holding the smoke in just deprives your brain of oxygen, it doesn't help with absorption rates. Most of that occurs pretttty damn quickly, within the first 2 seconds or so.
 
I've heard that too, but i swear it affects me significantly more if i hold in my hits, and that's how everyone I've encountered smokes

Do you know of any studies/ literature that covers this?

yeah man good bud fucking REEKS. I haven't had week in my backpack in a couple weeks now and it still smells dank as fuck every time I open it at school lol


ghosting your hits is also way worse for your lungs, like all of that smoke is just getting deposited into your lung tissue, I used to ghost hits sometimes
the only reason to hold your hit in for longer than 5 seconds is if you're smoking honey oil or good hash because there is more THC per cubic cm because it's so much more potent so it takes longer to absorb

Allright, thanks man. People always reference said studies but I've never seen/been able to find them myslef

Good pot may smell but it won't if u inhale all of it not letting any out
With potent pot u don't need to smoke as much so there is less smoke so it easier to hold in

properly good weed should be able to stink out the room as soon as you open the bag, let alone smoke it! Dont get why people are so obsessed with smokeless pipes anyway, just pack as much as youre going to hit and smoke it in one: no smouldering cherry and no smelly half-burnt weed.
