Well I've really done it now. I'm in my early twenties and have been smoking somewhat regularly since I was 18. For the past two years I've been smoking very heavily, pretty much several times a day, only going maybe a day or two without smoking, and that was pretty rare. I'd used a bong, and smoke for what some may call "marathon" smoking sessions.
About a year ago I've really noticed my inability to keep a full erection. I also have pretty much no sex drive. I can still jerk off, but it's not as easy as I remember it.
Anyway, I went cold turkey two weeks ago. I went through all sorts of anxiety, cold/hot chills, etc. Pretty much all the physiological and mental "withdrawals" that going cold turkey can do to you. For the last week I've been jogging, or at least doing as much jogging as such a heavy smoker can do. And I STILL am having problems with sex drive and getting/keeping an erection. I'm getting really worried. I know I still have cannabinoids in my body, and will for another 2 or 3 weeks (from what I've read.)
I plan on hitting the gym every day starting tomorrow, as I've read working out can help. In fact, I went cold turkey before after smoking quite heavily, and working out with weights REALLY helped. (Although the problem wasn't as bad as it is now.) I just don't remember how long it took before I was back to normal. I've been eating healthy for the 2 weeks I haven't been smoking.
Any suggestions? I'd really hate to have to go to a doctor for this ****.
