When I tested the first couple batches of molly I had (using the Mecke reagent), I got a very fast, clear result-- first to bright green, then bright blue, then to black.
More recently, I got a batch that I was told was from a different source, but still good. I tested it, and everything looked normal. But upon trying the stuff (150mg to start), I barely came up (a calm feeling and a few eye wiggles, but no euphoria or anything else), and my boyfriend was able to roll only a little better than me (calm and chatty, but not much else). I thought maybe it was either: 1) us having eaten a big meal about 60-90 minutes before, 2) beginning to develop a tolerance (but I'm a fairly new user and am not abusing), or 3) having used mushrooms a week before (I've heard mixed things about a cross-tolerance with those?). I later talked to others who had tried the same batch, and they reported that it was good, but "super mellow" and that it took a long time (1-2 hours!) to come up.
This made me suspicious, so I tested it again just to be sure, and upon looking closely, I noticed it tests slightly different from the first stuff I had. Instead of bright green and blue at the beginning, it goes to olive green, then to a muddy blue, then to black. Is this subtle difference in the result something I should be suspicious of?
Is it likely that this stuff is just highly cut, and thus I was actually taking a much smaller dose than I thought? Also, I know the reagents are sensitive and will react to a small amount of MDMA amidst who knows what else, but is it possible to get a mixed reaction (instead of the MDMA reaction overpowering the others)? One of the Mecke color charts online lists olive green as the reaction for oxycodone. Is it possible that I was seeing the beginning of a reaction for this (or something else), which was then overridden by the MDMA reaction?
