Sleep Paralysis - The worst thing ever?

As a person with narcolepsy, I have sleep paralysis possibly 3-4 times a night. It is very frightening even after the 100th time.

1)There are two ways to get out of it. The first is to close your eyes and go back to sleep. Normally you will reawaken swiftly after. The key is to not worry about your surroundings and realize that nothing is going to hurt you.

2)The second way, as it was listed above, is to wiggle extremities like toes and fingers. This seems to break the physical bind and release you. Though, I find this much less effective than the first option.

What not to do: Don't use your imagination. Avoid it. Shut down all thoughts of things getting you in your paralyzed state. They will lead to hallucinations which will make it more difficult to escape the paralysis.

I have had a series of sleep paralysis attacks happen 10 times in a row one night. It's certainly scary.
