Slamming dilaudid.

Alright so my friend decided to slam a dilaudid 8mg pill. He has never slammed a dilaudid before now, but has slammed H before a couple of times. Anyways, he was wondering if it is better to heat the solution or just use lukewarm water and mix up and slam (which is what he did). He did however notice that after he sucked up the water there was a pretty decent amount of white powder left in the spoon. Is this just the fillers and shit left over, or is this actual drug that needed to be heated up to dissolve? He just didn't want to heat the solution and risk melting in some of the binders into his solution or make the opiate weaker by heating it which is the reason that he chose not to. So I guess the question is would it make the shot better if you heated the solution, or was the way he did it the best way? Also can the crap left in the spoon be eaten to get you high or is it just leftover fillers and junk that can be thrown down the sink? Thanks..
 
Dillies don't need to be heated, just mix up with clean water (warm but not hot is best) and filter and you are ready to go. Depending on the brand you may get slightly more or less fillers but I know with the K8's that most people use there is some filler left but not too much. If you are worried you could always water/filter it again but it shouldn't be dilaudid as hydromorphone is very water soluble and the remaining junk obviously isnt.
 
Do not use heat when shooting pills, ever. It just makes binders dissolve. The way described is appropriate.

And, the powder left over would have almost no actives in it (probably only what's dissolved in the water that it's wet with).
 
Great thanx. Ya I was not sure at first if these were even dillys. They are the purdue pharma brand but ive never seen them before like this one its like a P then a line then another P and on the back it has an 8. So if I just use lukewarm water and filter and slam then thats the best way? Thats what I did and felt pretty good, but was just a little unsure after if I needed to heat it. Is the leftover shit able to be mixed up again and shot? Or is that stuff just best to be thrown out?
 
I just started shooting dilaudid pills too and have been having a little trouble with the dissolving/drawing process too.

How much water should I use to dissolve an 8mg pill? I've been crushing the pill with a pill crusher, measuring 70 units or so with my rig, injecting that into the pill crusher and mixing up the solution. Then I pour that onto a spoon and draw up through cotton.

But I always seem to loose 20 units or, or it just seems like I end up with a lot less dilaudid in the syringe than I think I should...
 
That seems like a lot of water to me. I usually use around 30-35 units of water. I loose a little too, but I think its because of the fact that the binders and such suck some up. U just crush it really fine put in a spoon put about 30 units of water on it mix it up with an old plunger from a rig. Then use a piece of Q-tip cotton. Suck it up. Then when I slam I just use one hand to put it in my arm and draw it back with my index finger and thumb. I pull back a little when its in my arm then when i hit a vein blood squirts in. I dunno if its what your supposed to do but thats how I did it.
 
How big a piece of cotton do you use? I'm using about the size of a pea. It still absorbs a lot of the water.

Would someone provide SWIM with the step-by-step process for shooting dilaudid tablets (M2s). How much water, what should the solution in the rig look like, what should the remaining portion in the spoon look like.. When he has done thses IV he's not getting much of a rush at all. From what he has heard, hydromorphone is the Opiate of all opiates, and he should be getting a major rush, despite him having a VERY high tolerance with oxycodone and hydrocodone. SWIM needs at least 20-30mg (oral) of oxy to feel good in the AM, but he can do much more. How much dilaudid should he have to do in order to feel a good (or at least decent) rush. There is a lot of gunky, white stuff in the spoon after drawing up, and the solution in the rig is almost perfectly clear. What SHOULD the solution in the rig look like? Please explain as if SWIM is a total idiot (not much of stretch)

how do people like banging dilaudid? i have before when i couldnt get heroin, all i got was a 10 second intense fast rush, and thats it, no opiate buzz afterwards, back to being sober and not sick. just a 10 second rush, no buzz..WTF?
 
no it doesn't need to be heated... i know the hydromorphone pills we get here are really really hard to crush into fine powder. i spend 3 minutes stiring it into the water to try to get it to b dissolv as uch as possible.. and if theres powder left in the spoon, which there allways is with hydromorphone, i add more water and make a second shot out of it

They dont alllow lill ID'S here i dont think (though i know its not wut u were asking i was throwing it out there) but ive never come across a pill yet that google wont immediatelh identify..just type "color, shape, whats written on front/back. For example an m box oxycodone id type "small white round pill m 30"... always find it within the first 3 links.

Use this instead of trial/error.... aka injecting something you were told was something but arent 100% sure and hopjngyou dont die!
 
Hi uprizer7, this passed through the net but Swimmingdancer is quite right - we encourage people to start their own threads rather than bumping old ones, and we don't use SWIM (check the BLUA you signed up to) - it doesn't protect you at all and makes your posts tricky to read. As discussion is ongoing here I'll leave this open, however.

Opioids like hydromorphone are freely soluble in cold water as phatass said. Heating will just cause poorly soluble fillers/binders to dissolve, and you don't want those in your shot as they can damage veins and lungs. It's really important to use a micron filter too when IVing pills, to reduce the risk of a lung condition called talcosis/pneumoconiosis, caused by filler/binder lodging in the lungs and causing irreversible damage. Shooting pills is not recommended as it carries more risks than regular IVing..

I agree, I scored some for the first time, and with much anticipation and excitement I mashed up one 8mg and banged. I got this massive rush for about 15 seconds,,,almost scared me because I did it in the bathroom at work (stupid). But afterwards It was like 'nothing'??? I can't figure it out because from what I have read these are supposed to be comparable to morphine? IN my opinion thay are no where near as good as the roxi30's that I have come to love.
I also got alot of reaction (redness) around my inj site.
 
Make sure to use 0.2 or 0.22 micron wheel filters to clean the fillers out of the solution before injecting.
 
i feeell dilaudid is way too short acting to be even legal for prescribing for pain, i mean come om, u got to take it 8 times a day!? i had a handful of dailudid 4mg's, i was shooting the, back to back, i woul dget a real intense rush for 5 secs, then i was back to sober, no after opiate buzz NOTHING, totalw aste of money,h ow do peopl like dilaudid
? it provided a rush for 10 seconds and no buzz afterward,
