SL appreciation thread Vs. I wanna thank everyone here on BL

I need to thank NeverSickAnymore.. not just for what he has done for me, but what he has done and continues to do for others. 9/10 times when there is a post of someone asking for help, I will read it and Ill be damned if his isn't the first response. And it is never a once sentence response wishing the person good luck (which there is nothing wrong with that,) but it's always a long ass post that will answer each question that was asked by the op and more often than not, he will provide links to threads or websites directing the person asking for help to more info.

You never cease to amaze me, dude, for real. You have a heart of gold, and I thank you for that. REAL TALK

'Aint that the truth?

I am deeply thankful for not just the moderators of SL, but all of you who have contributed to the many important conversations here since the Recovery Forums took off. These forums are a deep source of pride for myself and the entire Bluelight community. Keep up the wonderful work. :D

^We owe some appreciation your way SG, for your idea to expand the Recovery Forums into what they have become. Without your idea we wouldn't have a Sober Living, or a SL appreciation thread. <3. So for that I appreciate you SG ;) and of course for everything else you do around the site.

People who write one sentenses are just as important. Just because someone can write a long post doesn't make them care any more than soneone else. Not everyone finds it easy to research quickly through papers n write long postd.

Edit: i 'm not having a go at anyone here with this n I agree NSA is an ace person n contributes a lot to BL n is a great asset xxxx

I feel like this was directed at me.. regarding my post to NSA. As I clarified in the post, there is nothing wrong with a one sentence answer showing support, I was merely stating that he rarely does that.

I do not usually write long drawn out posts.. and usually its a sentence or a paragraph or two.

I apologize if I offended with my statement.. but my intent was only to demonstrate how NSA is so very helpful. It was not meant as a put down toward anyone else in anyway.

You didn't offend me at all. I agree with you regarding NSA. I just wanted to point that out because some of us are not able to get read lots of information quickly or access lots of information quickly n I wanted this pointed out that's all.
I agree re NSA.
In fact NSA is the only member of BL whos bothered to get to know me properly, take time too help n realise I've tried to change n become a better perso n was one of the only people who bothered talking to me when I was feeling low a while back.

Sorry if it came across like i was annoyed as that 's not the case at all.

Take care,
Evey xxxx

^ no biggie! I completely understand that not everyone has time nor attention span (in my case lol) to put together these well thought out threads, thats why I mentioned in my post that those one-liners of support were great too! Don't apologize.. I DID think you were annoyed with me, but Im glad we cleared it up.

:)

Yeah this forum is a great addition to BL. I'm glad it was created. OD and BDD are great to talk about HR and the active day to day intricacies of using drugs and using them as safely as possible, but having a place with such great support from people, to deal with the many issues and struggles of remaining sober, really is great. It's helped me personally on many occasions in just the short time since it's been created. I'm trying to spend more time here in the Recovery Forums and help out with answering posts when I can because I believe in the benefit this forum is having.

The staff here do a great job. This forum is one of the most intriguing aspects of BL right now and I see it growing even more.

Keep up the killer work, guys.

Mr.S, your presence here has been a positive change for the better, the community wouldn't be what it is without people like you who offer themselves for the benefit of others. I appreciate you joining in, adding your knowledge, input and general support. :) Being a moderator of another very important HR forum on Bluelight it's really great to have your presence here. I have to say I do very much appreciate you being here. <3
