Skunk packed too tightly?

I purchased a reasonable ammount of skunk to get high, it was very tightly packed, squashed and sealed.

Does this affect the quality of the skunk?
 
was it in a nug and "squashed" or was it shake/broken down and squashed? if it was a nig and dense, its just how it was cured. dont buy shake anyways, too easy to put oregano/parsley/basil/etc. in it. plus, all the trichomes and shit fall off in the grinder!
 
Compacting effects looks, not quality but generally worse weed is bricked and not good weed, that being said there is very good weed out there sold as bricks, just less common.
 
Ahh thats ok then, smokes well. It was denley packed probably to save space and keep the smell to a minimum. An ounce was packed to around the size of a ciggerette pack
 
ma weeds always packed tight as hell
and its still good to smoke

Your weed is probably from far far away, and then smuggled all intense like through customs, etc.

everytime I have gotten skunk it seems to compress (just when you roll it up in the bag, ESPECIALLY if you grind it) waaaaay more than any other strain.

Lol, does it bust out like .5 for a joint like normal then still have tons left from an oz "packed tightly"? OR is it like taking small chunks off your weed "packed tightly" like smokin crack >_>
