Six Flags Magic Mountain

I live about 30 minutes away from the six flags in Georgia, and was all excited about going this summer until I found some startling information on their website. They do not allow alcohol in the park. Not even in the sit down restaurants that are located inside the park. If I am going to spend 40 something bucks for a day at an amusement park I want to drink damn it. I don't think there is a flask big enough to last me a whole day there either. :X

^it was fun, altho i did not like X2. now that i know what to expect, i think i would like it better.

btw, i tried to teach people how to play the card game you guys taught me. everyone kept forgetting that 2's were the highest card. so we ended up playing kings instead. i guess that story was not all that exciting.

jest83, i noticed the lack of alcohol and i thought it was weird. the amusement parks i used to go to when i was younger made a killing off beer.

I remember going one time and seeing these skin heads. They were getting off of a ride in front of us and the chick in front of me has this huge iron eagle holding a swastika tramp stamp that you could see as her shirt was short. I was in shock while thinking "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?!". Just asking for it in my opinion.

I never noticed that there wasn't any alcohol allowed since we used to sneak it in.

btw...how much are season passes this year?

animal cookie, are you talking about pusoy dos?

si, the concept is the same but our version is called "class struggle"

winner is king, 1st runner up is queen, 2nd runner up is high peasant, last is low peasant. LP has to give their 2 highest cards to the king, king gives any 2 cards in return. HP has to give their 1 highest card to Q, Q gives any 1 card in return. LP gets to make the first play. it's a fun variation of the game

I absolutely love Magic Mountain - took a trip there via public transport during my first californian holiday with my boyfriend and it was amazing. Our first and favorite ride was Tatsu.
At Santa Clarita station we also met a sheriff who had a part time role in the Batman show!

I wish I was Californian and could visit and get this year pass thing, alas I am from the UK and it's a hell of a long journey back, but I definitely hope to return in a couple of years!

I'm pretty excited for the new ride they are adding to magic mountain! Seems like it would be one hell of a ride. The concept is almost like the zipper ride in which the rider will spin while the ride is in motion.

They are also opening up the new and improved Superman ride in which the rider will be facing down instead of up when you get to the top of the ride. It's going to be pretty insane!
