Could weight loss lower your tolerance and/or make drugs/meds more effective or effect you more?

So...I'm dependant on opioids and gabapentin (I do have a legit script for both as I suffer severe chronic pain and have an absolute medical need for them, but I also abuse them sometimes and get VERY sick if I run out)...I've just lost 12.5% of my total body weight...so SHOULD my Gaba and opioids basically effect me 12.5% more strongly?

You lost weight but not your receptor density in the brain, right? So I don’t think so.

Yes, but the physical effects? I never thought of that TBH though.
Once when I was really thin and continually losing weight while also using, my addiction nurse told me that the more weight I lost the more likely it was I'd OD.

I think I only heard of mg dose per kg when it comes to alcohol…
