I am only familiar with the workings of bubble bags. If you use an ice water method you just scrape it off the filter onto a screen, fold the screen over, stick it inbetween some layers of newspaper and stand on it to squeeze the water out. Then you just scrape up the hash and press it into balls in your finger tips, squeezing out as much water as you can as you go. Leave the hash balls in an open container over night to dry.
I am not sure how to make hash from dry kief, but I'm pretty sure you need to heat it while you press it. I've heard that a high quality kief press can be tossed into a pot of boiling water with pressed kief inside to make hash, but have never seen it done, so I can't say for certain.
