I miss the carefree days of my child hood, as I’m sure a lot of people do. When I woke up, I wanted to watch cartoons, not smoke a cigarette. I went to the sandbox to the endless sand castles and possibilities. Now, I go to the office with computer screens and endless piles of papers. I didn’t care about what I ate, as long is it was sweet. Video games and action figures are now replaced with dirty dishes and household chores. I remember a time frozen food was all I wanted to eat. Now it’s all I can afford. Someday I think ill be as carefree again, seeing my light in his eyes, as he wakes up to cartoons, working in the sandbox, video games and action figures. And he’ll always have a TV dinner waiting for him.
