Im sure this is somewhere and if somebody could give me a link to it thatd be cool...

but im looking for side effects of acid... every time i look it tells me all the stuff i already know but im looking for other stuff such as for example ecstasy making you unable to urinate and biting your lips.. things like that... if acid has any.

some people experience jaw tension the day after, from unknowingly tensing their jaw muscles during the turbulence of the experience...happens with other psychs too, probably x also.

i just tripped yesterday, at 6:30 am, after stayin up all night...didn't get to sleep til 1:30am (by my own decision) and let me tell ya...today, i am pretty tired, and emotionally flat line....lol (ie 36 hrs awake)

i'm waking up more and more, but i feel worn out. not bad, not strung out, just a little emotionally tired. but i feel part of this is due to the sleep deprivation, that coupled with having slept for 13 hrs...lol, can't blame the acid really.

generally there is a lingering feeling of a different 'head space' in the days after a trip...but really most of the 'side effects' are pretty desirable.

i kind of still have that 'wide eyed' feeling...lol, like i'm not blinking.

you might start smelling like an Effing hippie, or you might go mad and your thought processes become too abstract making it difficult to function on a practical level (if you take too much and don't integrate it realistically)

but really LSD has few physical side effects, you'll sweat more and might lose a bit of sleep but thas about it

I experienced muscle tension (stomach during the trip and jaw at the tail end) Only while stationary though (sitting down watching movies) while walking, this muscle tension wasn't there, or not that I noticed atleast. All very minor and definitly outweighed by the wonderful positive ffects.

These are all things I've personally experienced and may or may not be individual to me. I definitely notice increased mucous production (I sniffle a lot), for some reason I find cigarettes repulsive, I'll occasionally experience unexplainable localized feelings of discomfort at random parts of my body (this has been consistent for me with a couple different tryptamines), and when I do a lot/redose/candyflip, I feel SUPER cracked out the next day.

I get a ton of analgesia (pain kill - great for my chronic back problem) for that day but its gone when it wears off.
I also get a ton of over-salivation... like my mouth waters so much that I have to spit constantly, but that one is not too terribly common... although some others do experience it.

Most of the side and after effects are very desirable. Really that is half of why I do it. I just love the way it opens me up and helps me see clearly (mentally I mean) the following days. It literally seems to make me smarter, or at least more sharp (clear and quick mentally) after the effects wear off.

my back tightens up alottttt.....sometimes to the point of being debilitating, some trips worse then others. But there's also time where i feel no tightness at all...

i used to do it...

i used to do acid... we used to get blotter... it was fun and trippy.. there used to be rumors that it was made in a university lab... then a year or two later only microdot... didnt trip alot, just rush type feeling... about ten years later i tried dexidrine and it was almost the same... i hear people make lsd and e in their basements and shit... i wouldnt touch anything like that anymore... if your chewing your face you are prob speedy... imo..

What's classified as a 'side effect' with a psychedelic anyways? Wouldn't all the effects have the potential to be side effects?

So I looked up the definition:

side ef·fect
Noun: A secondary, typically undesirable effect of a drug or medical treatment.

And proceeded to look up the "side" effects from using LSD

The user may experience extreme changes in mood, feel several different emotions at once, or swing rapidly from one emotion to another. If taken in large enough doses, the drug produces delusions and visual hallucinations... The user may also suffer impaired depth and time perception, with distorted perception of the size and shape of objects, movements, color, sound, touch and own body image. Sensations may seem to "cross over," giving the feeling of hearing colors and seeing sounds. These changes can be frightening and can cause panic. Some LSD users also experience severe, terrifying thoughts and feelings, fear of losing control, fear of insanity and death.

However, I must say, I enjoy and embrace at least 95% if not all of these "side" effects that are on that list for what they're worth as a whole experience. Many people would call them "side" effects, or effects that are undesired, but maybe I should just call different ones straight forward, backward, or downright upside down effects. Also what the hell is the 'secondary' effect of a psychedelic? I never even knew there was a first, they just simply all were.

Although perhaps this is what you are more interested in:

The physical effects include dilated pupils; higher body temperature and sweating; nausea and loss of appetite; increased blood sugar, heart rate and blood pressure; sleeplessness; dry mouth and tremors.

Keep in mind it varies from time to time and not all of these will always happen.
