Ok so I posted a while ago this thread but now I see it was the wrong section... I am sorry. Try again just to see if I can find more answers. I know you guys are not doctors, just experiences and opinions would be appreciated.
A person I really care about is having problems because of MDMA months after she had took it.
Have to say, it went like this:
-she tried the first time in summer last year, had bad side effects but lasted only for a week at maximum
-took half a pill a couple of months after, had a great time, minimum side effects
-took again half a pill, less than a month from the last; very bad effects again
-took half a pill again after a month (mid december) horrible roll, she was experiencing the worst side effects for the whole time. Obviously very bad side effects after.
The quality of the pills were great, I took the other half or a pill of the same block and because of experience I can tell when something is good or not. Just with the last pill I had problems as well, but I would tell it was because of the kind of the pill (Heineken), so the roll was not bad itself, but not the effect I usually exerienced or liked.
However, she is still experiencing bad vertigo from time to time, developed issues concentrating, bad anxiety for things she had none before (for example university exams), dizziness, fatigue, random tachicardia.
I have read somewhere that you can experience the side effects even up to six months or more -sometimes.
But from my own experience I am not able to help her, because I have never had problems like these, at maximum a few weeks and a long time ago, due to poor quality and inexperience. Only another friend of mine reports to still have, after months as well, tachicardia, attention deficits, digestion problems.
Now, is there anything this person can do to feel better? or is it at least something that can happen? or is there something really wrong going on?
any exams she can do without telling the doctors she took drugs (I suggested but she doesn't want to).
(Ah, I should also say she is anemic)
Obviously she quit with the drug after december, only smokes a few cigarettes per day and occasionally drinks during weekends. Nothing special anyway. Ah yep, also drinks coffee.
[EDIT: I talked with her and she would also like to know if anyone has ever experienced to not be able to move their legs out of nowhere.
"The sensation was that I couldn't move the legs because they were too heavy... so I couldn't for real".
It happened only twice to her since then, but you know she's still very worried]
