Sick + Ketamine?

I believe I have a very slight cold. Mostly just upper nasal congestion (in my left nostril)
I did a small dose of Ket yesterday and it was very nice.

Is it a completely unwise idea to dose while slightly sick? I could definitely use the non congested right nostril to insufflate.

I understand the common reply will be "why can't you just wait?" or "save it for another time." But I am in a pretty pleasant set and setting today with the exception of that nasal congestion.

If it matters, I also took about 10mg of Loratadine (Claritin; antihistamine) and may take 2 excedrin (250 mg acetaminophen, 250 mg aspirin, and 65 mg caffeine each).

I hear most psychedelics temporarily suppress the immune system. How that manifests in the sickness I don't know, but it's something to consider.

Well something tells me it should be fine seeing as Ket is used as an anesthetic. Not sure what that has to do with much, it just seems logical in some way haha.

Alright, the sickness is now the least of my worries. Home Improvement is on TV.

Can someone change the subject to Tim Allen + Ketamine?

lol, the fact that its an anaesthetic won't help unless you take a whopping dose and
someone operates on your congestion xD
But snorting ketamine can really cause bad cases of congestion, normally this requires
longer term use but if you are already congested there is a fair chance that it will not
get better as fast, at all!
A friend of mine is chronically congested because of K, he is constantly snottering.. :\
Ketamine supresses the immune-system itself (yes some psychedelics also influence it,
some more than others) which can also postpone you healing.

Using ketamine in a medical setting is probably fine if you are wounded rather than
sick but I expect it to be at least moderately contraindicated if you have like an auto-
immune disease.

I've got nothing more to add.

;)

It seems as if there are no major reasons why you shouldn't dose. Of course, it might be less enjoyable if your nose is clogged/dripping the whole time.... but whatever.

Took a small dose. In a nice hole.

No complications. Nose feels surprisingly better. Snorting seems to temporarily clear my nasal passages. It's very enjoyable.

I'm sick, and went through about a gram via nasal passage this week.

You should be fine.

Is it ideal? No.

Will you be fine? Sure.

The effects of the K won't be any different really because it is going to dissociate you from any bodily feelings, including a stuffy nose.

Still, when I am sick my nasal passages do not usually take kindly to having foreign materials up there(unless it's a medicine specifically for that). Even when I am not sick, the morning after snorting K my nose is usually a little stuffy. Nothing too uncomfortable though.

Still, if you have some kind of infection it isn't gonna help and will probably just aggravate symptoms.

If I were you I would wait until I was feeling on top of my game to do it. That probably also has to do with the fact that I can't get ketamine whenever I want though so I have to pick and choose my times to get the most of my stash.

I really wanna try 4-aco-dmt and ketamine. And LSD and Ketamine. Pretty much any psychedelic with ketamine sounds good to me.

Huh, I never heard of that but it makes perfect sense. There have been times after acid trips that I have gotten a cold the day after.

Also, while I had a sinus infection and took ketamine, it really didn't help haha
