shrooms vs. acid

I've done both but am trying to figure the difference between the two and i'm having a hard time making distinctions. any help?
 
um, try a search. I typed "shrooms acid" into the search field set it for subject only. 4 threads with the exact name as yours, 2 with the names reversed, 1 with a slash instead of vs, etc. Because there are too many threads easily found within 6 seconds, I will not even attempt to post the links.
If you can't tell the difference, why do you care? I mean, you've done them both anyway.

i'm just a curious fucker. i love psychedelics, what can i say? i'm not lookin for obvious differences "duh... visualz.." but more along the line of how it changes perception, thought, etc.

For me LSD is so much more of a mind fuck than mushrooms. In contrast, mushrooms can often be much more colorful.
I once was quoted on this very topic as saying:
"Being on Mushrooms is like going to the circus, lots of wonderful colors and dazzling sights... where as being on LSD is like suddenly realizing your a clown, and you have been working at the circus your entire life!"
That's my $0.02, for what it's worth.

Great analogy w/ the circus...
For me, shrooms have always been "Hold on for the ride" where LSD is like, "Where do i wanna go"...

great reply seb..that's the best way to describe it..i was just going to say that mushrooms have a more dreamy feel to them, and the hallucinations are more rounded (eyes closed)lsd is more in yer face and has a metalic ringing feel to it.
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks of acid as metallic in some way. i don't know what it is, but it seems very.... Un natural? Metallic? Can't put my finger on it.

People would say shrooms were more mellow. I dont agree. I can handle acid like nothing , but shrooms made me sweat , tremble and laugh evil for hours, If I was just walking down the streets , I would have got picked up by the police for being clearly insane.
