Shrooms - Disgusting! What can be done?

This weekend promises to be very interesting - my second day of fungus. In preparation, I decided to find a way to disguise the taste. After looking at the shroomery, I settled on one method.
1) Using a blender, I proceeded to finely grind an ounce of shrooms.
2) I put a sauce pan on the lowest heat setting, and poured in 600g of generic-brand milk chocolate chips.
3) I melted the chips completely - even when melted, the temperature was never high. If I were a less couth chef I could have put my finger in the chocolate and left it there indefinitely. The heat level is important because cooking slowly destroys the active ingredient in shrooms.
4) I removed the chocolate from the heat and waited until it was nearly cool, but still viscous.
5) I poured the "shroom powder" into the chocolate and mixed it until it was uniformly blended.
6) I laid out saran wrap in the bottom of a pan, and dumped the chocolate into the pan. Using a spatula I spread it evenly.
7) I froze the mix for a half an hour, then divided it into 25 equal portions. 25 was chosen because some was lost to chocolate remaining in the pan, on the spoons, and in the air during grinding.
Now everything is in the freezer awaiting the weekend. Each portion is about one gram of shrooms. I tried a small amount for flavour - very tasty. Not nauseating in the slightest. Nobody's gonna have taste issues.

dip them in nutella (not sure of the spelling, the chocolaty breakfast condiment). This is kinda of sketchy if you have a lot of mushies because you will want to keep on eating and eating.
 
I always just buy an egg and cheese croisant from dunkin donuts and cram 'em in there. One time the dude gave me some sort of mexican egg and cheese deal with all sorts of weird ingredients - even though I didn't ask for that. Needless to say the sandwich tasted worse than the mushrooms.
 
Here's a recipe:
-1/8 ounce of shrooms
-my mouth
Place dried shrooms in mouth, chew, swallow.
They're really not that bad! Just chase them down with some chips and pepsi ya big wuss!

SOME shrooms aren't that bad. One time I had an ounce that litterally made me gag when I smelled it. I don't think the picker wiped the shit off of them or something. I now have absolutely no idea how I ate a whole 1/8 because it now makes me sick just thinking about it.
 
Just make tea or kool-aide ... use like a 1/4lb of Sugar per pitcher of fluid, and double up with the flavoring.. or cap them and eat.. no reason to try and cook with them, thats a waste of time..

so my friend and I always put a big blob of peanut butter directly on the shroom. the peanut butter totally disguises the taste of the shrroms. we like to call it peanut butter "toast" because that's what it tastes like. luv to all
 
Peanut Butter has always worked best for me, but make sure you have something to wash them down with the peanut butter can be stick

You can also put them in a burger which disguises them nicely if you order a big one. Seriously, one of my favourite meals in Amsterdam is the McDonalds McMushroom [TM].
 
I can't stand having them with chocolate or peanut butter. I stick them in tacos, spicy shit completely disguises the taste.
 
Grind them up, and place the fine powder in a few empty caps, then swallow said caps.
 
I always eat them with cheddar flavored Goldfish, Cheez-It's, etc.

there are many ways to eating shrooms, but you must eat them with something that doesnt contain sugar. i was told by a headshop owner (i live in the netherlands)
that sugar weakens the effects of the trip. so if youre having a bad trip or something you should eat lots of sugar.now im not sure if this is true ,cos sugar didnt help much when i was too fucked up, but thats what the guy told me and i guess he knows best.
 
okay that sugar thing i can soooo confirm on that the first time i did shrooms i ate them with a ton of swedish fish (tons of sugar) and i almost didnt feel it!!!!!
 
shroomcloud - I wouldn't put any stock in the advice of the headshop owner. If that were true, why would recommended recipes from the shroomery include chocolate, honey, and fruit juices?
Makes no sense, just like the idea that a ketamine high can be lowered by taking in sugar. What you feel is the normal lessening of the trip over time. The fact that you took in sugar is irrelevant.
 
Pop dried shrooms in a blender. Blend to a powder. Pour in some OJ and blend again for about a minute. If you don't smell as you drink, you will hardly taste anything! Chase it with regular OJ. Onset is in about 15-25 minutes :-)

I had some very foul smelling shrooms on the 4th last week that I didn't think I could stand to eat plain. So I made tea, instead.
-Chop up the amount you want to eat
-Boil drop them in boiling water for 10 minutes
-Let cool slightly
-Place tea bags in cup (preferably a strong flavored tea; I used Bengal Spice tea)
-Pour water through coffee filter into cup
-Drink and enjoy!

Also, it's possible to add fresh fruit while you're boiling the shrooms to add flavor. I've tried grapefruit which worked well...I'd assume it'd have to be something particularly juicy.

Dude, just eat them.
Think about it - this bad taste = i'm gonna trip... total pavlovian response... eventually shrooms will start to taste heavenly
