How would ambien (zolpidem) interact with mushrooms 4-5 hours after dosing? Would the ambien weaken the effects of mushrooms, would it increase the effects? There might be some interesting visual aspects I could think of. I was planning on eating 3.5g of mushies and then ~10mg of ambien around 5 hours later to help me sleep afterwards. Does this sound safe?

ambien can be pretty weird on its own. I don't think the drug combination would be immediately dangerous, but given the tendency to sleepwalk etc on ambien might not wanna do this alone. With just ambien people sometimes drive cars, cook, insert other potentially dangerous activity here, while still partially asleep and or blacked out. I can only imagine what a shroom addled mind would do in that state
