"Shroom pill?"

My friend who I've been friends with for a while and trust, hit me up today saying he came across some "shroom pills." 25$ a pop. He said one is comparable to an 8th of shrooms. He said he took two and tripped balls, his friend took one and also tripped hard. He said his friend "went unconscious" for two hours and was talking to himself the whole time. I bought one, it's a small green tablet. Any idea what it might actually be? I was thinking it might be some chemical that'd similar to the chemical in shrooms, but I'm not sure.
 
IBTL - ID threads aren't allowed sorry bro. Just test it. Won't confirm it's psilocin/psilocybin, but will at least rule out (or indicate) a whole heap of other possibilities.
 
Oh ok. I was unaware. I'm probably just gonna try it when I get a chance and good setting. I'll also ask my friends to describe their experiences so I know more or less what to expect.
 
I'll be sure to post here, or start another thread and link to it here about my experience if anyone's curious.
 
Hmm there was just another thread posted a week or two ago about these 'shroom pills'. Likely some 4-sub tryptamine, leaning towards 4-aco-dmt.

This is why identity threads are not allowed... It could be 4-aco-xxx or a mixture 4 different 4 subbed tryptamine or something else all together. This kind speculations only can lead to assumptions which don't help anyone.

even reagent test (while always smart) won't be conclusive since there are many different types of indoles / tryptamines.
Hopefully it isn't pointless speculation that doesn't help anyone but I think it is realistic to consider the general chance of synthetic tryptamines being in shroom pills higher than extracted psilo alkaloids. It's a simple economy and drug marketing thing IMO, if someone had mushrooms they would most likely sell them as such but many find mushrooms to often be on the expensive side compared to most synthetic or semi-synthetic drugs. Therefore IMO marketing synthetics as mushrooms is a ploy to circumvent that though I do not dispute that there may exist actual mushroom pills.
That said: this is still all speculation, we don't know and we can't go further into it.
