Showering is toxic ☣️

🤣🤣🤣
First time I see such a bs posted as advertisement. In order to sell something they are ready to paint the whole bible with dicks. How stupid people supposed to be to trust this bs 🤣
Thanks for fun. 👍

cool... i googled and it says ocean water is healthy when absorbed through the body.

i don't really feel good drinking chlorine tap water. i don't know if times when i showered less or been in areas with out chlorinated water and showering if it felt any better. i definitely can't stay hydrated on tap water with chlorine. too much makes me sick. a cup is fine.
I guess I’m weird cause I love chlorine tasting tap water. It sucks cause I’m on a well. When I go to my friends house I load up on that chlorine tasting goodness 😂

Connect the dots fell into the well of Bacteria's of the human skin. The Oasis of the body in the desert of hygiene the last resort for them to flee to. If it is anatomically correct supposedly a paradise.

Supposedly soaps kills lot of the good tribes inhabiting that. A.o Nitrosomonas They eat Ammonia a skin irritant so very usfull but get washed of easy and re-colonize slow when staying of soap ? Staphylococcus a.o. supposedly also love the Urea secretions of the skin but are sturdy and produce the lovely sweat stench.

A nice round circle imo. Food for thought i used soap this morning poor microbioom

i used to enjoy the taste... now that i drink a lot more water than i used to, it just makes me feel a bit off.

Most people filter their drinking water and never think about what they’re absorbing in the shower. The exposure gap between the two is significant. 🔬

Chlorine is added to municipal water to kill bacteria, but it doesn’t stop reacting when it contacts your body. 🧬

In a hot shower, three things happen simultaneously that drinking water simply can’t replicate.

⚡ Why shower exposure is higher than drinking:
→ Heat opens pores, increasing dermal absorption directly into tissue
→ Steam carries chlorine into the lungs with every breath
→ Full body surface exposure vs a limited digestive pathway

The byproduct that matters most is trihalomethanes, or THMs. 🧠

These form when chlorine reacts with organic matter in water and are classified as probable human carcinogens. Research has linked regular THM exposure to bladder cancer risk, respiratory irritation, and skin barrier disruption over time.

The compounding effect of daily hot showers adds up in a way that most people never account for in their health protocols. 📉

You filter what you drink. You’re not filtering what your skin and lungs absorb every morning.

💧 The fix is straightforward:
→ A carbon shower filter removes 90%+ of chlorine and most THMs
→ Installs in seconds with no tools → Costs a fraction of a water filter
→ Lasts 6 to 12 months depending on usage

This is one of the lowest effort, highest leverage environmental changes available. ⚠️

What you absorb matters as much as what you consume. 🎯

Omg no we would all be putrid if we didn’t shower. I love me a good shower. I bathe my 2 and 3 year old daily, sometimes twice a day bc those mf’s be getting hella dirty 🤣🤣🤣

No he died. But was resurrected...

Tell me I didn't get that part wrong... Died as a human right? Been awhile since I been to church....catholic's in the styx are different.

Seems like he may have had a bit of a foot thing.....or a leper thing. (insert proper amount of levity)

“Despite his unhygienic lifestyle, he lived to the age of 94. He died a few months after bathing for the first time in 60 years, having been persuaded by the inhabitants of the village to do so.”

live in the country and am not hooked up to any municipal water system. We have our own well so we have no worry about anything added to it at all. But we do have to worry about it getting really low some summers. Also theres the worry about contamination like e choli
Don't you have a filter system? I get my water from the local stream and it runs through a UV filter (as well as a series of physical filters to remove sediment).

It's amazing that someone can live to be 94yrs. With bathing or no bathing.

Maybe he ' showered ' once in a while. when nobody was looking. lol
“ Amou was not his real name but an affectionate nickname, generally given to elderly people, roughly translating as "old timer". He lived in the village of Dezh Gah in Fars province. He did not bathe for over 60 years, from c. 1957–62 until shortly before his death in 2022, because he feared that soap and water might cause disease. He claimed that he became a hermit due to "emotional setbacks" after experiencing heartbreak.

Amou Haji was celibate, ate carrion that he found (especially rotting porcupines), drank water from puddles and rusty oil cans, smoked animal dung using an old pipe, wore a war helmet to fend off cold, and lived in a hole that he had dug himself, or occasionally in a cinder block house constructed for him by local people. To manage his hair, he burned off the excesses with a flame. His skin was covered with soot because he "bathed" in smoke to cleanse himself. “
