I haven't had sex in like 2 years due to my love being oxycodone and that preoccupation made me not really need sex or relationships. I feel just slightly that some of my male friends are losing a lil bit of respect for me for not getting laid.

Now I was at a party a while ago of and I met a pretty hot girl(I was sober) who I spoke to quite a lot and I heard through her friends she is DTF me. I want a blowjob. and sex. Not really badly. Not even badly enough to make the effort of typing a few words on fb chat or whatsapp.

I feel my primary motivation would be gaining respect of my friends and lookin kinda like a baller again, possibly even feel like a baller again. I don't know if that's how it should be.

I've been kinda a negative person lately and sorta dread doing most things that aren't related to getting faded tbh.

So the question is should I put in some effort into making this happen ? The effort being add her on fb or bbm/whatsapp and speaking to her and making a plan to go for drinks or something on the off chance I'll have fun and meet someone worthwhile (she's rumored to be a bit on the slutty side), but don't see that as a problem lol.
 
so you just want to bang this girl solely to gain respect from your friends? do you honestly have any feelings for her, whatsoever?
 
It's hard to tell. I don't remember that night clearly cos I had taken a lot of rx drugs. I might. Na, not solely. The more I think about it the more it seems like a good idea. I will stalk her fb to see. Na, probably no feelings. Feelings of wanting to bang her tho. I prefer girls a few years older than me.

When u put it like that it does sound kinda stupid. Just some are pressuring me to, do u know what i am saying.

I want to feel and look cool and not so down and angry all the time. The 'spect is just a bonus.

You're the guy that takes like 8000mgs of oxy every day. Don't your friends realize what that does to your sex drive?
If it's something you wanna do and it seems like the girls feelings aren't gonna get hurt if it's a short "relationship" or even a one and done, then go for it. You've got your whole life to munch on oxy and be apathetic. You've only got one youth.
 
If you're not motivated enough to try and contact her, you probably aren't that into her. Just my opinion.

That being said, if you want to, just try and hang out with her again and see if there is anything there!
 
Yeah lol not 8000 but way too much. Was rx'd for pain now i rx it to myself (I get tonnes) for everything, and I've cut back a bit and feeling a bit of my libido coming back but your right it's pretty much takes most of it. sigh... my youth slippin me by, but not ready to switch painkillers - that's a topic for a diff thread.

and llama's right I'm not. Really I'm not. It's just friends thinking they'll sort of fix me by getting me laid I guess. Road to hell is paved with good intentions.
 
THe reason you're down lately could be lack of sex... I know what you mean about opiates taking your sex drive - sometimes they do for me and sometimes they don't or they even increase it. But sex is one of the best parts of life :) I don't think you should get laid cos of what your friends think, I think you should get laid because it'll make you happier & less stressed. Just don't play games with the girl, if it's a one time thing or just a FWB thing make sure she knows that. But other than that I think you should do it. ;)
 
So which is it? You said you were sober in your first post and then you said you didn't remember because you were on so many drugs in your second post.

If you are doing it just to appease your friends then, #1, don't do it, you should only do it if you're actually interested in her and #2, get some new friends. Your sex life is none of their business and it's not something they should be hassling you over.

habituation to certain drugs can wreak absolute havoc on the male libido in particular, though, I think...something about getting it ^up^ for long periods of time after non-use and when you've been into your d.o.c. hardcore can just be psychologically difficult to get through. good advice though

to op yo i mean dude, it's your life, you can do it, or you can hold off man

but yo man you don't got all the time in the world, i think that's the main thing you got to keep in mind
 
^I feel like it may be more prevalent in males. It's different. A male with a normal sex drive, your dick is almost like a dowsing rod. It's got drive/a mind of its own and it basically tells you where you're supposed to go.
If you're in a relationship, dope can be an performance enhancer. But I'd never say it's more pleasurable to fuck on opiates.
When you've been abstinent mainly due to a opiate addiction it is kinda like trying to jump start a dead battery. You really need a jolt of something/someone you want. Going out to have sex with someone you're meh about may be a bad idea. For a few reasons. I'm reconsidering my stance.

Mean't sober from liquor. didn't count the drugs.
