I have been using opiates for approximately 8 months and MUST get off of them. I was using approximately 8 30s a day; however the last week was using 2-3 opana 15s as that's all I could get my hands on to make it through until I had time off work. I tried going cold turkey but after 15 hours couldnt take it and started suboxone which helped. I went to suboxene clinic 24hours after quitting and they refused as I had a Xanax in my system where I used it to help sleep a few nights the week before. I was able to get some suboxen to try to help ease wd's for the first few days. I have approximately 18 mgs which I used 4 mg day 1, 8 mg day 2, and will use 7 mgs over course of day 3 and possibly 1 mg left into day 4. I plan on using the next 3 days (days 4-6) to go back cold turkey to get over the worst parts before I return to work. Any suggestions as to what else may help? Also has anyone else tried a quick suboxone detox to help ease wd's? Trying to prepare myself of what to expect next. I have unison to help with sleep and have also been taking withdrawal ease for about 10 days. Any information or help would be much appreciated!

I would like to see you spread those out even further. Try to make the last 8 Mg last at least a week. 3/4 mg the first day then 1 mg doses as need for a couple weeks/spread them out during the day. Some days 1 mg or .5 might provide relief. I think suboxene is a gift but difficult to quick. It can take a few days to feel ok again. You may have difficult sleeping and a bit of anxiety. Prepare a plan ahead or time.

Sorry , it's just that 4 day sub routine is not enough to enable success for you. If you decide to stick to original plan please keep this thread updated with your progress, be it good or bad.

If you use the search, there is tons of info on this topic throughout Bluelight.

With that said, taper down the Suboxone until you get well below 1m, and hold that dose for a couple days. I would then switch to Kratom. A good dose of Bali Kratom tea will knockout the leftover WD from the suboxone, help you sleep, and help will constitute the last leg of your journey. Kratom takes forever to begin to accrue dependence to and it is very forgiving in that manner. If you haven't used and don't know what Kratom is, it's a plant with opioid chemicals in it. Potency for a good Bali strain is said to be 1g = 2.5mg of hydrocodone. My extensive experiences with the plant seem to verify this (in general), and a good tea made from 5-10g of Bali tea would do wonders.

Think it over, but myself and many others have successfully used Kratom to get through WD. Below 200mg Oxy per day, I'd fully recommend Kratom alone. It's once you get into higher dose ranges that it loses effectiveness, necessitating suboxone. But where you're at now, it should be a home run and help you finish the job.
