Shooting up roxys

Hey I'm new to this site. I'm sure this topic has been discussed before. Is it safe to shoot up blue roxy 30s??
 
Well I've slammed H a couple times but am trying to get off of it. I was told roxys were ok too bang. Thanks for the advice

This isn't good harm reduction advice is it? He is asking about oxycodone.

If you really want to inject pills, use a wheel filter.
 
Try online sites like amazon cheaper to buy in bulk, just google buy wheel filters.

Didn't realize I came off that way, so I went ahead and deleted it. I was trying to say that mainlining meth and coke are easier on the veins, but not at all did I imply that he does that. I should have mentioned filtration and hygiene for harm reduction. I was high as a kite, so it came out half assed.:|
 
Yes many people I know shoot them. I have done it once and the buzz I got was similar to snorting so I just do that. It's easier.
 
I've only shot oxy twice and it was from the old OC pills before they switched to the OPs. For the amount of time it took to prep the shot and the risk that comes from shooting a pill it really didn't seem to be worth it. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference from snorting them and it seemed much, much safer. I switched from snorting H to shooting it a few years ago and I wouldn't go back to snorting it. It just didn't seem to be the same way for oxycodone.
 
I'm not sure of your formulation, but many oxycodone pills have talcum in them... and talcosis is a serious complication that can occur real quick with a bit of bad luck.

Oxycodone works when you mainline it, but it is the most disappointing IV opioid I have taken. There isn't much of a rush (at least compared to heroin or morphine), you just find that the feelings go from zero to manifest quickly - it's not intense. At least not for me. Feels pretty much like you'd sniffed it.

The best thing about oxycodone compared to most opioids is its extremely high oral BA. If other opioids had higher oral BAs I'd probably eat them too, but eating morphine or heroin wastes 60-70% of your product. Eating oxycodone wastes 15% of your product. I find it not worth it at all.
 
You can shoot blues, preferablly with a micron filter but its not very good for 1. the BA is high enough orally or plug if you dont wanna wait, 2. pills are more toxic to the veins then most other drugs. and 3. oxycodone doesnt have a rush like heroin or dilaudid does.

This. There's not a lot of value added from shooting it, so I don't deem it worth it. With stuff like heroin/morphine/hydromorphone/oxymorphone when we're talking about well over a 50% loss of active material and a monster rush which you won't get via other ROAs, there are more objective reasons for doing it.
 
Alright thank you for the input. I probably won't shoot the blues. Seems to be too much risk and not much reward
