Shooting through a vein

If a thread exists with this information, please point me towards that. Tried searching but failed.

I might have shot buprenorphine through a vein and wanted to ask what are the possible risks of doing that? It's impossible to say for sure if I missed right now as I wouldn't get a rush from that amount but I got this bad feeling that won't go away. My technique still sucks so it's likely to happen in the future and knowing the risks would be great. The solution was filtered through a 0.2μm micron filter so I'm pretty sure there was nothing nasty in it.

Thanks, and sorry if this seems pointless. I'm relatively new to this and I get a little paranoid every time I fuck up.
 
Since it was carefully filtered, you will probably be OK.

Common problems to watch out for, though (especially with a pill like Suboxone with sugar in it) would be any redness or swelling, spreading redness and tenderness, puss, infection, irregular blood flow in the area, tingling in extremities of limb you shot it into, etc...
