Bluelighter
I'm drowning in an ocean of sorrows
Trying to come up for air
I cannot find my way to the top
For i can't let go of my drears
The anchor tied to my foot is weighing me down
It will not budge for anything,
And won't even make a sound
I'm looking for the surface,
And can see the light,
I try with all my might,
But the chain is holding me down tight,
But not going down without a fight,
Inspite the fact that chances are i might
I'm laying down now with my eyes a blur,
Wondering why the surface has diappeared,
And it's making me unsure.
Why is it hat the harder i try,
This evil barrier tied to my leg
Wont let me see the vast blue sky?
