shipping illegal stuff in mail question

my friend wants to send a little illegal powder to a friend who is in the middle of nowhere where she can't get any. he was wondering how good drug detection actually is. i think his plan is to put about 1-2 grams in a little ziplock and hide it within an electronic device, toy, videocassette, etc. without a return address of course. the receiver said she would take the heat if there was any. keep in mind this is 1-2 grams maybe less not a huge quanity.
do you think it'll be ok? has anyone had success with something like this? how'd ya do it?

Search the archive, as the topic has been covered extensively before.
DO use a return name and address (packages without them are suspicious) -- just not your own. Use a real address (somewhere in your town) and a fake name. You could always use the address of your local police station, for example ( ).
DONT use FedEx or UPS or one of those...use regular USPS (us postal service) mail. They have fewer rights that the commercial companies when it comes to opening/holding your mail. I've never had USPS seize a package.

with such a small quantity, shipped domestically, properly concealed you will have absolutely nothing to worry about. Of course you do add suspicion by placing no return address on it. A wise man would write a false name and address on the package and send the goods along worry free. I think everyone has sent a friend drugs at one point or another. Whether it be placing hashish in a film cannister, mushrooms in a cocoa-tin, or some beans in place of decongestants, it is nigh impossible to get in trouble with a domestic package. This of course changes when you're trying to send a briefcase full of "orange dolphins" home from the netherlands claiming it's a couple pounds of chocolate for your girlfriend. anyway, good luck with your endevour.

yep, like FAIRNYMPH said this question has been covered extensively before...in fact i think there whopuld be a FAQ written on it as i think there are plenty of people receiving bad drugs thru the mail, and most of them make some idiotic mistakes...u fucking criminals need to help each other out

well i will say that a FAQ on this topic wouldnt matter one way or another, cuz u really think there are topics discussed on this topic that the DEA/postal inspectors arent aware of??the basics need to be covered on this topic, NOT how to package items etc etc...too many people ship items every week and they are just asking for trouble as they make very stupid mistakes..HENCE a FAQ that gets the basics downpat...

the basics are that if its not a suspicious package, the USPS has no reason to open it, and it will arrive with no complications. it could be suspicious if it smells like drugs (either by human or dog), if its got no return address, or has a fuckload of stamps. USE COMMON SENSE. send it just like you would any other package, but use a false return address. and if you're mailing something that smells awful, make sure you vacuum seal it and do whatever else needed to conceal the smell.

This is something I know a great deal about...I would use USPS and ship express overnight to wherever, (this is the price you have to pay --- hey gotta pay the errand boys 'ya know) package tightly, using plenty of bubble wrap and tape. Leave a legitmate return addy, any name... Track the package from an internet cafe or school, not your CPU --- this is just to cover all the bases folks.. Domestic mail should arrive no probs about 99 % of the time... International, you need to be organized and professional with you packaging, and really know what you are doing if it becomes a regular thing!
Ps -- for poweder here is a good idea that works for me.... go to a nutritional store and look for a smaller bottle of creatine or glutamine..they are both real white powder (esp. the glutamine) empty it out, put the "powder" inside, wrap it tightly, then leave a little note saying: " Dear so and so, this stuff worked great for me, my muscles are never sore etc etc.

i wouldnt use too much tape as it may attract the eye of the postal inspectors...
yeah overnight couriers are fine as long as u dont hit the same addy over and over, and if you are using a residential addy i would switch that as well, cuz nonstop overnight packs to a residential addy looks suspicious..

I used to be all paranoid about this shit, then I just got real with it...
You can use any means of shippingyou wish as it's domestic so not subject to a customs search - whle private couriers such as UPS or FedEX don't need a warrant, they would have no reason to bother checking it out - both UPS and FedEX (as well as most any other shipper) handles a truely amazing volume of packages, no one has thetime to inspect each one, ESPECIALLY if it's overnight or express... still, USPS is the easiest way to go...
Of course you must use a return address (hell, even your own is acceptable, shit, I even used to insure my packages back when I did mail order..) and correct postage, and as was said, dont tape the thing up with more tape then you'd use to seal any regular package..
You can put it in a CD jewel case, thats what most people do...
Also, search for "shipping drugs" or "post office" and you will turn up a number of these threads..
Also, I agree we could use an FAQ - if someone wants to do one up, please email it to me! The best will be posted to FAQ's .. and please, have some idea what you're talking about before you write it..
