When you bite
your lip
before a kiss
pre- feast tigress,
it lights
me.
Anticipation drums
long fingers on
my skin.
But you know
this.

What passes between us
at those moments
is frameable
during the interlude of
our playing.
I rewrite dreams, only to
include you.
As those who
went before are reduced
to cameo.
Little mention.

Solid framed once,
flimsy ash
now
as I self combust at
the thought of
you, arsonist of
my soul.
It's your fire,
fuelled by my yearning
that brings the flame.
Quell it with your
tongue, speak no
words.
I hear you anyway.

You're glamorous,
perfumed,
picking at your faults
with a spear of
self analysis.
Lay them out like soldiers
blindfolded for execution.
Bang bang
you're dead
gorgeous.

^ who cares if you get a million responses or none at all. that's not a reason to not to write. there were times when i had 12 responses, and recently, hardly anyone responds at all. i'm not going to stop writing because of it. I read ALOT of the stuff posted in here, but fail to comment on alot because sometimes I really don't have anything to say at all. And instead of typing the 'great work, keep up the good job', I keep them on my 'must read' list and comment when they really blow me away.

I personally don't feel as though someone should write to get 'props' from anyone else. Write for yourself for gradification... not for encouragement. You have to find that one your own. And when you find the encouragement for youself, you find that write really helps yourself out... in the long run.

And it just makes it twice as good when someone responds 'i know just how you feel, i couldn't have said it better myself', because you know that you aren't alone.
