Sherlocks?

i had a sherlock a few years ago that was taller and thinner and wouldnt stand on its own. I'd highly recommend one. They look really kickass when smoking and allow you to strike that extremely relaxed indulgent pose.
 
Every pipe in this thread is seriously stupid looking, I wouldn't be caught dead smoking one of those grade school art-projects. People will buy anything.
 
I have one that's small and well made and glass and I loved it when I used to smoke.

I don't save residue or smoke it so I can see how it would be a bitch to scrape but other than that I have no complaints.
 
Newmoonrecord: Thats what I had in mind, something I can lay back and smoke with. Personally I'm starting to like the first pipe I posted.
 
I don't see how anyone could dislike sherlocks. YMMV I guess. I'm not a big fa of scraping resin so I wanna get a pipe that makes it impossible to do scrape. I'd rather just not deal with the stinky black shit that gets stuck under ur fingernails and smells for weeks on end. I used to smoke resin when nothing else was available, but that was a loooong time ago:p
 
I <3 sherlock bubblers. Unfortunately they're expensive and I don't smoke that much anymore so it'd be a waste for me to blow like $80 on a piece. but those glass ones, in the middle of the page are f'n sick.
 
^And apparently there pretty cheap too, around 40 each on the website that sells them, but there site is almost a month behind at the moment (xmas backorders and such) so I'm just gonna head down to the glassblower and see if they have any unique sherlocks on sale, if not I'll settle for somethin else cuz I rly need a pipe right now (i'm not gonna roll out the tinfoil either, fuck that shit)
 
I would go for the sherlock bubbler, added option of water-filtration. I heard bubblers get clogged easy so just make sure you clean them time to time. I have a double-chambered pipe that gets clogged with res at the bottom of the bowl, just twiddle a paper clip inside for a bit and it hits.
 
^The sherlock bubbler I used to own never got clogged (thanks to the glass screen I had at the time)
 
I got me a sherlock the other day, and its tight as hell. Its a standup sherlock with a fritted bowl, the S stem has a flattened mouthpiece (like a wooden sherlock) and changes colors, the bowl even has a dinky lil frog staring at you from the side:D
Sadly the blower who made this piece died recently, and I basically got the last of these animal pieces he made. I'm never letting this pipe out of my sight, nothing could replace this pipe, NOTHING. I'll post sum pics once I find my camera:D

^I already got one of those for my fiance, got her a gold fumed hammer bubbler. She's quite happy with it, but we haven't smoked from either pipe yet due to no funds for weed:(
 
My boy used to have a wood sherlock, it was so fucking disgusting smoking out of wood. Honestly just go with glass like you said :).
