I have read some comments on some of the 2C-x family of psychedelics regarding their molecular stability and shelf life, but I am not sure if most of these compounds are indeed stable and can be kept for long periods of time. Does anyone know if saying that they are all exceptionally stable (some of them seem to be) compounds would be an inaccurate blanket statement??
I still have some 2c-i and 2c-e stashed away for almost a year now. For the large majority of this time they have both been stored in room temperature mostly away from light... the only exception to these (generally) optimal conditions would be when I took both stashes with me on a camping trip this summer. During this trip, both the 2c-e and 2c-i were kept in a dark container but for 5 days straight endured relatively extreme temperature changes, which worry me.
By 'extreme' temperature changes I mean the average day was about 85 degrees Fahrenheit, ~30 deg. Celsius, which shot down rather rapidly at night to about 55ish but I am not as concerned with the cooler nights as I am the hot summer days.
Being a camping trip I really could offer my poor RC's no shelter from the heat. Anybody know how much the materials may have degraded from that 5-day trip, or since then for that matter?? Also, while I am speaking of the 2C family I also have always wondered which 2C-x research chem most closely resembles Mescaline... I have never taken Peyote/Mesc so I have no basis for comparison. From what I understand most people feel like it would be 2c-t7 or 2c-e. Never tried t7 either so I wouldn't know. I do kno 2c-e is pretty damn intense!
