she walks every night

*she walks, every night, in DARKNESS
*always HOPING the light of the stars will be enough to guide her
*with each night that passed, the brightness of the stars FADED
*tonight, the sky is EMPTY
*she is SCARED to walk under a starless sky
*but she has NO CHOICE, so she stumbles down the beaten path
*as she walks, she WONDERS where the stars have gone
*she looks up at the darkened sky and SCREAMS
*I NEED HELP!
*but the stars had GIVEN UP on helping her
*she walks every night by herself, but she's never felt so ALONE before
*every night, she used to make a WISH on a star, but tonight she can't
*her wishes never came true, but she always had HOPE
*tonight she had NOTHING to help her and NOTHING to hope for
*she does not think she is STRONG enough to get through the night alone
*scared and confused, she falls to the ground and CRIES
*she closes her eyes and prays that the sunrise will come and SAVE her
*but in her world, the DARKNESS never goes away
this poem is about my depression and how alone i feel in it sometimes. also, how alone i have made myself through my problem with addiction (meth). i wrote this a couple months ago--at a very low point for me.

very touching poem huney!! i get depressed sometimes too but im learning that somethings are just not worth worrying about there are so much more to life than love, there is nature, fate, souls, meaning of live these things exist, oneday you will find these and your depression will be gone, it is a phase we all go through but remember the greatest gift you can give urself is detachment from things, just remember that the world only sees souls and the inner goodness of oneself unlike what people see. there will be people outthere that have a soul connection to you and will see the inner beauty to you
