Share something POSITIVE from your day vs. it's all around you

I know this has been positive but I not feeling it right now.

Today I attended an appointment with a substance abuse counsellor, I haven't seen one in about 4 years and so very nearly backed out today with one of my many excuses.

Being a first meet it was mainly assessments forms, going through everything I'm doing, everything I've done in the past and my mental health issues has left me a little shell shocked, I'm unsure what I feel about it all right now.

I sit behind this screen offering advice like confetti but dealing with my own failings is a totally different story altogether, there is such a big part of me that thinks my drug abuse is fine, despite it's effect on me and the people I love. I'm not sure I even know where the rest of me is on days like this.

This has been at least a step to accepting I need some help and one I've made without being in crisis, I've got a follow up meeting on Monday.

Courage, Allein. Being vulnerable--to yourself and in front of someone else-- takes more courage than anything in the world. Remember that what you are really doing is conquering fear and those voices of rationalization ("I don't really need this, I can do it on my own", etc) are just fear talking. You put this in the right thread. This is positive and I don't think you will regret doing it. (((<3)))

my house is now CLEAN !!!!

edit- this sounds like a joke or a really lame thing to positive about, but my house had fallen behind to the point that I was stressed about my landlord having to come by or guests seeing it like that + was stuck in a bad procrastination cycle for a long time over it.

^I am hun although work is super crazy right now, I am just trying to tell myself to get used to it.

saw "The Grand Budapest Hotel" at one of my favorite art-houses. They serve great food and drinks, and have sofas and couches to sit on and enjoy the show with your meal. Great night out. If you like Anderson's films, you will love his new one. I recommend it to everyone. :)
