I try to get something musical done every now and then but my lack of creativity kills me.
Not only that but I can't help but think that everything we do is pointless.
Why play guitar if nobody can hear me play and I get nothing out of it? Why do this and that if X happens, etc. I have a very fatalist outlook on life and everything seems hopeless to me atm.

If you get nothing out of it then do something different, although I imagine most people play just for their own enjoyment irrespective of who's listening.

There's a whole world out there waiting to be discovered, all you have to do is make it happen!
