Twas lovely to meet you Shambles. Sorry I didn't make it over to the van before u left on Monday. Wanted to say goodbye & safe home but didn't arrive back at the sight till lunchtime. Hope u had a good weekend anyway & glad you're home safe & sound. :)
 
^ No bother man. Knew it was one of your favs. :) I like that festival cos its small & usually know most of the crew, bands & volunteers. Any decent festivals round kneck of the woods?!
 
Oddly enough was just discussing that with another of the Irish crew. We do apparently have decent festies around where I am but must admit I've never been to any. There are any number of reasons for this but if some of those could be left aside it would be nice to go play in a field somewhere... even if it is legally and with a band on your wrist as entry requirement rather than pills off the organisers. There's quite a few dancey events too around here as you can probably imagine - all those early-90s krusties had to go somewhere and rather a lot ended up living in tipis in the valleys apparently. There is quite a lot on here but without transport it's nigh-on impossible to get to any of 'em so I'm an occasional visitor at best. In theory though is doable. Perhaps our Celtic brothers and sisters can make the trip over one of these times :)

And as for specifically in my neck of the woods, the free parties up in the wooded hills round these parts are lush. Not quite as much in terms of organisation but not far off given they're unlicensed and run by dealers, fiends and hippies. Dawn is always a bit nice cos you actually get to see where you are at last and it tends to be worth the wait. Tis pretty around these parts and no mistake.
