so since taking invega sustenna I notice my semen has the consistency of water of there isnt alot of it... almost nothing comes out and my orgasm are barely noticeable ..almost no pleasure at all... is this common? has this specifically happen to you or someone you know I would like to hear about it.

Well i have taken Risperidone of which Paliperidone (trade name (invega) is the active metabolite of so they basically act the same and thus have the same side effects. I had to stop taking it when i started dating this woman regularly because of the shitty sexual side effects. I had no trouble getting it up and i could get off with alot of effort but it was like there was very little pleasure. So i switched to seroquel instead which doesn't give me any sexual side effects.

Risperidone and it's active metabolite Paliperidone are very strong dopamine receptor antagonists at the D2 receptor which is why they are notorious for causing sexual side effects. If it's a big problem for you go see your doctor as there are many other atypical anti-psychotics out there that have less sexual side effects then Invega. Do not stop taking the Invega without your doctors approval whatever you do.

was your semen watery? I have literally only a few drops come out after I orgasm it might aswell be nothing

thanks for the reply

I'm not a doctor, but I do know a lot about medications and how they impact body systems. I'm not diagnosing you, no one can diagnose on the internet, so I suggest you speak with a doctor about this ASAP!

Invega Sustenna can increase prolactin levels.

Prolactin is a sex hormone. In men, if these levels are elevated, it can lead to decreased testosterone levels. This in turn can lead to decreased sperm count, which could explain why you are experiencing watery semen. Low testosterone levels can also lead to a decreased sex drive, which can explain why you are not experiencing much pleasure from orgasm.

I suggest speaking with your doctor about this immediately. Low testosterone levels are something that can be treated. If you leave it untreated for too long then it can lead to numerous health problems. They'll probably run some tests to see what your hormone levels are.

Hope everything works out for you.
