SEX...my liver and vikes...

I know a girl who took vicodin regularly because of multiple surgeries. She took them in somewhat smaller doses than you and for not as long. Anyway, she complained of a pain in her abdomen during sex as well. She ended up having a cyst the size of a grapefruit which had to be drained. Don't be afraid of seeing medical attention just because you might lose access to your pain meds. If it is a serious health problem, youll wish you had spoken to a doctor sooner.

^^^ yeah, it might not be std related at all, but very well could be something like a cyst or a tumor. all joking aside, fb, go see a doctor. don't mention your vicodin use, unless it becomes a real issue. in fact, don't mention drugs at all...just mention the pain during sex. it should have nothing to do with your liver at all.

g/l.

Please go see your gyn as soon as possible. I had the same thing when I was 18. Stabbing pain every time we had sex. It turns out it was an ectopic pregnancy which ruptured and almost killed me because I didn't want to go to the hospital. Dont mess around with pelvic pain!

taking paracetamol

You don't mention in the post whether you take all t vicodin at the same time, or say in two groups (eg 4 tablets, then 3 tablests 3 hours later). If you take all 7 at once, you are actually taking more in one go than your liver can safely metabolize (the 4g limit/day refers to taking 1000mg every 4 hours). To counteract this, you should obtain some L - methionine (it's a dietry amino acid suppliment), as this is the source of glutathione, which the liver uses in the metabolism of paracetamol (in the UK, acetylcysteine is only for IV use in cases of paracetamol overdoses that present at hospital A&E depts).

Other than that, go to a doctor and explain that you have been taking paracetamol every day, and are worried. You WILL have to tell the doc about your paracetamol intake (although you don't have to mention that it was combined with hydrocodone)

as mentioned earlier, the problem may have nothing to do with apap so theres no need to go to a doctor and being labeled as a drug addict unless absolutely necessary. best to first complain only of the symptoms and not mention the drug intake unless the doctors say that they have no idea what may be causing it or if they ask in particular if you DO take tylenol regularly.
