Severity of withdrawal?

I've been using for about 14 days straight and want to kick my habit of about 200mg of heroin daily (IV) cold turkey. Was just wondering how bad I can expect it to be relative to a similar habit consisting solely of snorting. I know from past experience I'll get some really nasty symptoms (insomnia, RLS, chills, etc.), but what I'm really trying to avoid is excessive vomiting/shitting myself, you know, fun things like that that will render me unable to work. Is there anyway to predict if my habit will bring on symptoms that severe? Will Immodium help reduce those experiences?

Immodium will help, though it can sometimes make RLS worse. Why do you want to go cold turkey? When I quit opiates I take a very low dose every morning for a week just so I can stand to get out of bed in the day, then the next week its easier to handle. Or you could taper.

The shitting won't be your only issue, the depression will knock you out too. Thats why i do the low dose thing the first week. I.e I take 10 pills to get high and when detoxing I allow myself 1 a day, just so I can cope.
