The last time I was on Seroquel I had pretty uncomfortable sleep, though it wasn't really the fault of Seroquel (I was having severe sleep disturbances from my fibromyalgia, and the Seroquel wasn't enough to counteract it). Remeron ended up being far better for my sleep - not only did I stay asleep, but the tone of my dreams became much less unpleasant. The combo of Remeron and Seroquel XR has been pretty terrific. Seroquel XR has been far more effective as a mood stabilizer, but since it doesn't have as much drowsy effect, it needed to be combined with something more effective for sleep.
Since you're going through withdrawls, I would inquire with your doc about something that will work better on your sleep, and maybe about switching to the XR version of Seroquel for better bipolar treatment.
