A few days ago I slipped on the Ice and hit my head pretty bad. I was puking, dizzy, and sluring my speech, so I went to doctor and was diagnosed with a moderate to severe concussion.
So now, a few days later, I still have a bad headache, and it gets worse when I try to read or watch TV. My biggest concern though is that my concentration is horrible. I can hardly stay in a conversation with someone without getting distracted. Prior to the concussion, I had trouble concentrating, and people have told me that I should go to a doctor and get it diagnosed, but I never acted on it.
I was wondering if a doctor would be likely to prescribe me some sort of amphetamine for the concentration issues, or if he would just say that it will get better, as the effects of the concussion wear off.
