I have a few 25mg seroquel that I've taken for sleep and they work great. Looking up on what they are, they seem to be prescribed for that purpose, but for people who are on other medications for mental stability. Is this fine for someone who does not take, nor needs to take anti-depressants or anti-psychotics, or can this mess with my brain chemistry?

It is perfectly safe to take Seroquel without a mental instability as a sleeping aid. That's if you stick to a safe dosage and don't drink on it.

I take Quetiapine (Seroquel) 50mg every night for sleep and I dont have any mental illness. It is prescribed off-label for that purpose. Quetiapine is a relatively safe substance but it might affect your mood because of its metabolite that have a long half-life. Quetiapine half-life is 6h and Norquetiapine is 12h so in fact the drug will be active for more then 24h.

Your dose of 25mg is very low though so it shouldnt have too much impact.
