Simple question. Anyone who takes this drug or has knowledege of it what are some safe seroquel and street drug combos?

I take it for borderline personality disorder. im taking 75mgs atm but i asumme it is going to go up to 100-400 mg range.

thanks for any info.

Street drugs, meaning what? I used to take Seroquel and it was too harsh for me. Made me excessively lethargic the next day.
I imagine taking something speedy during the day might be helpful.

What i mean by safe "street drug combos" is what can i take with my seroquel to get high?

for example i know mixing opiates and alcohol very very possibly could kill me.

i want to know what street drugs i can take with my prescribed seroquel to get high without killing myself.

Edit- Can i mix say crystal meth and seroquel? coke? opiates? i take 50 mgs a day of valium with it atm and smoke weed all day every day when im not at work.

So there is no one on this site that takes this drug for Bi-polar or borderline personality disorder etc and mixes it with street drugs?

i tried it with weed after asking my shrink if it was ok and that was a little instense the first time but now im used to it 100% and dont notice the mix as being different from just smoking weed.

I also mix it with my prescibed 60 mgs of valium a day...

any expierence would be greatly appreciated.

Just in my opinion; using street drugs with an underlying mental illness; ESPECIALLY when medicated is just a recipe for disaster. I think antidepressants and antipsychotics have even worse and more damaging w/d than street drugs in the first place. Try and evaluate your situation. Do you really NEED to be medicated? Last time I checked, there is no medication to treat borderline personality disorder directly.....

If so, please research the withdrawal side effects and how these drugs work. Look at the positive and negative, don't just trust a doctor. My doctor had me on benzos and I was in for the ride of my life when I stopped them; and was never warned about how long, severe, and brutal the withdrawal would last. My friend was burned by seroquel withdrawal, and she felt retarded for about a year before feeling normal again. Sorry for the rant.... but just my .02 cents. Educate yourself on anything you put in your body, especially with underlying conditions.

I've mixed seroquel with other drugs but I can't tell you whether it was safe or not. I'm not sure what interactions you're worried about.

I do have to say that if you're in a position that you need an antipsychotic "street drugs" are not a wise thing to be putting into your body, particularly things like meth.

Quetiapine is contraindicated with methadone (QT prolongation/cardiac arrythmia), will have additive effects when taken with other CNS depressants, and it lowers the seizure threshold.

He probably does, which is why he's taking neuroleptics. I imagine it would help with the emotional volatility, and therefore help avoid impulsive/self-destructive behavior when feeling particularly negative.

You just nailed it. My doc thinks the drug for all those reasons will "help".

thanks for the info, no using methadone (not a problem) and be cautious with uppers.

I took it for around a year together with amphetamine. you shouldn't. but ime I didn't have that bad of a time taking speed with seroquel, and it actually heloed the jitters and me to sleep after, however the problem is that if your a speed user without seroquel you will need more speed than normal. hey budddddd, be safe. and fyi your dose is not going to be increased. 75 is a stable dose. just because 100-400mg is used in some cases of psychosis, it is probably not appropriate in this situation (yet, it maybe after you smoke a billion bowls of meth on sero lol) lol man, reduce that harm

I've mixed it with alcohol and noticed that 2 or 3 drinks and I'd be getting sleepy. But since your on a decent dose of valium you should never drink. Benzos and weed are safe. Low doses of stimulants aren't too dangerous. Stay away from high doses of stimulants or sedatives.

I'm bipolar as well and when I was doing a lot of drugs I was ALOT worse. Barely sleeping or eating for days. Almost delusional at some points. Both the intoxication and withdrawal symptoms from psychoactives can be greatly magnified and I'm sure you can figure out why.
