Hi I recently got seroqel 100mg and it is not helping i tired breaking the tablets in half it did not work i tired all of these medications mirtpaize ,trazodone and serqel i am getting very upset none of these medications are working!

Sorry to hear that. So youre sayin none of these meds work or are useful for a short while an then stop working? Im surprised because mirtazepine is very sedating at small doses

Hi well mirtazpeine did work at 7.5 mg less then a year but the seriqel does not work i did even feel tired could it mean i need a higher dose

Well normaly serquel works at doses of as little as 25mg did for me. So im not sure but i think the higher the dose it is anti depressant purposes, but im not 100% on that. Could you perhaps try temazepam at 30mg this of course is a benzo so is not recommended for long term use

Indeed! So is Seroquel, I manage to sleep but it kills me on the following day. So much drowsiness, not to mention tiredness. I have never used 200 mg tablets again.

Hi what is a good dose for sleep ? i tired 100 the first night and i heard it is less seadting on higher dose and i tired a lhalf of tablet still no sleep

Hey I was on Seroquel for a little while and it just made me feel really groggy and lazy, it didn't put me to sleep. I told my doctor and now I take Trazadone and Gabapentin which work very well for sleep and I also have Zolpidem for nights when my insomnia is really strong and it breaks through the other two. Medication affects us all differently but it sounds like you need to tell your doctor that the Seroquel isn't working and seek an alternative, good luck to you, insomnia is one of the worst symptoms in my opinion and sometimes nightmares don't occur when you are sleeping, they happen the day after you can't sleep.

I recommend Progressive Muscle Relaxation and the deep, slow breathing that goes with it. I am excited to have tapered down to 25mg nightly Seroquel. In due time I will taper to 12.5mg, then who knows...maybe I can shake Snoozy Q for good ;)
