Seriously need advice- might loose job they found my stuff but cant prove it is me

OKay so I am a waiter at a chain restaurant. Like a retard I took my meth with me to work, as I was working a double and wanted some extra pick me up. Well needles to say I was in the employee bathroom doing my thing (smoking) when I heard another waitress in the hallway asking other people back there "Is (insert my name) back there? His table needs him (it was slower at this point and I only had one table). In my haste I thought I grabbed my stash but didn't, I accidently left it on the soap dispenser. Well someone found it and I heard the managers saying "so and so found it in the male employee restroom" Well they cant prove it was me doing it since there are no cameras in the bathroom. BUT another manage commented on how I had lost weight (I am an avid fitness person, was just using meth for a short run with school) and I said "yeah im cutting weight" I do not get super amped at work, or spun and it does nothing but improve my work performance.....so I guess what I am asking is what are the chances they will either drug test me or suspect me? I don't want to loose my job. I spoke to several managers althroughout the night (after the stuff was found) and none of them acted like they suspected me.... they did not sit me down and talk to me, they didn't do anything towards me. Im just afraid I am going to go in tomorrow and they will test me, or even test everyone. Please please let me know what yall think- oh and I have stopped using as of today and don't really know if or when I will use again but it will be awhile
 
idk, i would be ready to start looking for another job if i was you.

why wouldn't you just eat or snort the meth, u must use it a fair bit if you are smoking it, let alone at work while you have a table waiting 0.o

it also seems that lots of drug users are not very self-aware of whether other people might be able to tell that they get high at work

ok just in case I will go ahead and start looking for one just to be safe.But isn't there a decent possibility nothing will happen?
 
They can't technically prove that it is you. You have to be seriously high at work for them to drug test you. I doubt it will go that far. Management will more than likely be cautious about making accusations without concrete proof to back them up.

If it does come to that, deny, deny, deny.
 
Well if your sure no one saw you leave the bathroom and they do confront you in an accusatory way, the full denial thing might work if your a good liar. Tell them you need to see proof of why they are coming to you with this. I think i would just hope for the best but be ready to accept the worst as well. Not sure if they can legally test everyone which would be expensive for them as well. Look into what they can legally do. It might be written in the employee handbook. Ive seen jobs that had the option, if they suspected, to give someone a test and if refused, it was basically like pissin dirty.

Plus you would be surprised at how inaccurate those things can be giving false readings. When i was in rehab they checked us randomly and my roommate came up dirty for meth. I didnt think he was acting like someone on meth and he swore up and down he was clean. So they burned another test on him and it came up clean. So even if your dirty you can say its wrong. Good tests are very expensive though

I dont know, i think you'll be fine but either way, take this as a lesson to not bring your shit to work. Ive been in full blown addiction before and still never took my shit to work for reasons like this. Its just not worth it and it kinda kills the high too. Just think of all the things you have to deal with in getting fired and finding a new job just to get high once. I dont think getting fired for being high at work makes you eligible for unemployment benefits either.

Im assuming its an employee bathroom only.

yeah I think your right legalizeitall. They have zero hard proof- only thing on camera is me entering the bathroom and leaving it. I wont bring it to work anymore in fact I wont be doing it for some time- at least 2-3 weeks. I have notice some red flags in my moderation management program with speed. so I need to back down. I don't think there is anything they can do
 
Sometimes benzos and amphs can reflect false +; although I doubt they will test you… and no need to borrow worry now. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise… to rethink the meth use. I was never tested, and I know they knew I was using eventually. It got quite ugly, I then had an intervention..

I was a waiter used coke for years, and probably 1/2 of us were using… 8(
 
Carry clean/synthetic urine until the heat dies down and deny it until you start to believe your own lie. They have no proof and can even get in trouble if they fire you without just cause, I'm pretty sure you can even sue but don't quote me on that. Anyways I can't see this thread lasting too long so take the advice given to heart. In all honesty you deserve to lose your job, smoking meth in the bathroom at work? What the fuck were you thinking.

Depends where you are I guess, in Australia I think half of the hospitality industry is on speed, I doubt anyone would give a shit even if they knew exactly who it was - no fucking way a waiter would EVER be drug tested here (for/by work).
 
^^ Jesus.. that is nuts! I can barely even fathom that.. I mean, it's such a fucking shit-kicker job, why would anyone care? You would have to be such an asshole owner/manager to do that!
 
My ex-manager found my water bottle of vodka once in the refridgerator at my old job. He was stealing a gulp of my water while I was tending the front and he got 100 proof vodka instead. He laughed at me n said why didnt I tell him I drank sooner lol. Every day I worked there from then on I had a shot or two with him causually. Actually brought us closer so to say.
 
^Somehow i doubt his manager is gonna have the occasional hit of meth or two, though haha.

I with Captain on this one, carry around a bottle of synthetic urine for a week or so and let it blow over. Chances are they don't even know what the substance is. I got fired from a job once from smoking crack in the bathroom at a hospital i worked in. Slowly over time everyone caught on until one day i just got fired. No drug test or anything, they just said go home your last check will be mailed to you. At least they were nice enough not to involve the law.

Jesus that's retarded. I don't think there was hardly a day i went to work in my early 20's where i wasn't hungover, drunk, coked up or on benzos. And i worked at bricklaying often on high rises where everyone drank and got high.

Anyway learn to be a good liar. You pretty much have to be if your going to hide that shit. Deny deny deny and if they threaten you usually the mention of a lawyer will get them to back off. Just watch your back and don't fuck up and give them a legit reason to fire you.
 
I suppose you are right. We need to work after all.
No other way out.
 
Happened to me once, shot up and left an almost empty plastic bag of dope on the ledge in my office bathroom. Managers had a short meeting I figured they knew it was me but nothing came of it. I no longer use at work just because that empty bag could have gotten me fired lol.
