I'm not sure if this has been answered in a FAQ somewhere - I looked through the FAQs but not too carefully.

Does anyone know if this works. I'd like to filter the codiene from about 30 pills of OTC tylenol 1 but I'm not sure if what I'd end up with would contain acetominophen. See, apparently 7 grams of it is lethal and with 30 pills (300mg of acetominophen per pill) I don't want to take chances. So yea if anyone here has tried the method listed on erowid and knows the pros and cons please advise

there are none really, unless you want to break out more hardcore solvents, but fortunately you can get cold water from your tap (if you have running water in your trailer)
 
works fine. use a vacum to speed up the filtering process if you want.
aim for drinking about 200mg of codeine. that should do you very nicely if you have a low tolerance.
