Benzos Self-administering diazepam rectally...whole?

I recently read an account on erowid of a 20 year old male who - after a night of over-indulging on alcohol and uppers - was suffering from both that "gut rot" stomach ache from alcohol and had "coke nose" (that horrible condition where your nose is so stuffy it's impossible to breath through it let alone snort anything) - he decided he needed a sedative and that plugging it seemed pretty much his only option that wouldn't make his nose or stomach worse would to be plug it.

However, rather than the methodology I have read on here, he simply sucked his index finger to lube it, but the little blue 10mg diazepam on the tip of said finger and inserted the finger "about 2 inches or so" into his rectum. He repeated this with a second 10mg valium. He described the experienced as "not comfortable but not awful".

I have tried the traditional water-in-syringe method with opiates and had excellent results. However, the same method with a 5mg yellow roache diazepam 2 nights ago was a disaster. I had to shake the syringe HARD for a good few minutes and still ended up with at least half of the yellow mush clumped up in the narrowest end of the syringe. In the end I just sucked it out and squirted the water into my mouth (note: at the time I was using a freshly pealed from the packaging sterilized syringe that had been nowhere but on a clean towel and in my clean hands and been nowhere near my anus). Overall I still wasted 20-40% of the pill. Yeah, it was only a 5mg diazepam, but as we all know ANY wasted drug SUCKS big time.

I was thinking of trying the method the guy on erowid claimed to have done? Anal BA for diazepam is 80% and hits a lot harder and faster (potentially making for a better experience, is reducing the duration by 30% or so) and works in about 10 minutes. The guy said he removed his finger very slowly (with his butthole facing a mirrow) and it looked like his asshole was actually sucking In the pill. Anyway, he claimed 10 minutes later (which I hope he spent scrubbed dat finger) he says he felt a wonderful sense of calm descend over him, which is about accurate from what I've read online of medical cases of anally-administered diazepam.

What do you guys think? Apart from the usual (MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A BIG 'OL SHIT FIRST lol) should I give it a try and report back? I have no cuts on my finger(s) that could get infected and short, smooth fingernails.

What do you guys think? I'm prescribed 4 of these motherfuckers a day so wasting 2 aint that big a deal.

I have plugged diazepam before... I know it's not water soluble but I really really want this to work. I was wondering if you had any suggestions

I don't really understand...Diazepam has a quite good oral BA...if you need it to come on quicker, why not just crush pill with front teeth and suck on powder?

Rectal diazepam should work but it's kind of hit or miss, depends on "conditions", and sublingual then swallowing works great...

EDIT: And to the OP you shouldn't put the pill up there "whole", it will not break down as quickly as it would in your stomach...if at all...

Exactly. Under ideal conditions the BA would be about the same, but if you've never administered anything rectally before, that's a big risk.

And rectal diazepam doesn't hit any harder or faster, nor is the duration shortened. Either way, the duration of a single dose of diazepam(at normal doses) is 3-6 hours.

Yeah I just don't see the advantage over sublingual, to be honest. And the great thing about sublingual is that you can swallow it afterwards, so whatever doesn't absorb under the tongue still gets absorbed in the GI tract.

Although funnily, this method is pretty common for taking allegedly-MDMA pills at raves and festivals among some people Just stick it on the end of their finger and slip it up, and I imagine that the pills are crumbly and poorly pressed enough that they break down and dissolve easily.

You realize diazepam is not water soluble? That's why your attempt at rectal didn't work, 1 syringe of water is not nearly enough to dissolve 5mg diazepam.

Actually, now that I think of it, you'd need a solvent to administer it rectally, or a ridiculous amount of water, just to put 5mg diazepam up your ass.

Stick to oral, rectal has no advantage, and it's just not practical for a drug like diazepam that isn't water soluble.

I just don't get it; diazepam has an amazing oral BA of 90%, and it a very fast onset(15-30 minutes). Rectal is no better in any way, and likely worse.

If your that bored, I would say grind the pill up and administer it sublingually. But again, there would be no advantage(if anything it might be slightly slower).
And you can't shove whole pills up your rectum, it won't absorb. That is the whole point of rectal.

Not at all worth the effort even if you had proper rectal diazepam. 99% absorbed via the oral route, don't fix what ain't broke.

Ya, I wouldn't do it and I've pretty much put every drug up my but except Benzo's, the only one that I heard is water soluable is Midozalam(sp?) and Phenazepam(but im not completly sure about that one.) I alway just hold all benzo's under my tounge, especially if its klonopin because it does kick it so much quicker that way, and valium I can start to feel in under ten minutes, and xanax seems like it kicks it pretty much a few minutes after it is put under the tounge,anyway...
