selegiline + milnacipran - how dangerous

I have been taking 10mg selegiline daily for several months for parkinsonism.
Last week I started on 50mg of milnacipran for depression.
The milnacipran company says they shouldn't be mixed.
Besides the obvious BS about mixing anything with any kind of MAOI, what is the real danger of mixing these? and why?
Thanks.

Interesting combination.

Yeah, milnacipran increases some noradrenaline. But so long as you keep the dose of selegiline down at 10mg, you should be fine.

Seeing as you've been taking the combo for a week, you should be fine. Should increase the risks of tardive dyskinaseia.

Thanks for the quick reply and the assurance.
